GW Bush inherited a balanced budget and projected surplus..
The GOP Congress spent like CRAZY and completely wasted and squandered that balanced budget. (then they crashed the economy 7 years later)

In 2016, Obama's last year, the US annual deficit was at $587 B a year.
In 2020 the US deficit was projected to be $1.1 T, precovid (it came in at $3T)

Trump and the GOP doubled the yearly budget deficit in just 3 years, AND they never had 3% GDP annually.

Now these trash republican try and claim to be the fiscally responsible ones even though the GOP has destroyed the countries finances. The GOP refuses to do the right thing and fund our government to keep the economy booming under Biden. The GOP has raised the debt ceiling countless times for themselves, but never for anybody else. the GOP is playing games with our economy. The economy is booming and the GOP are jealous because they such at the economy.

This is just another example of the joke and failure of the GOP. The GOP has destroyed our finances, and they won't work with the dems to help our country. The GOP doesn't care about our country at all, they care about the GOP. Party over country. Why else would the GOP spend so recklessly for so long???

Not properly taxing, huge tax cuts for the rich and big business, spending out of control, not paying for the spending and adding it all to the deficit and debt, wasting billions on the military, shutting down the government when we have democrats in control, not raising the debt ceiling when the democrats are in control, deregulating business, allowing creative accounting and the list goes on and on.

The republicans have NEVER been financially or fiscally responsible.

It it IRRESPONSIBLE to cut taxes when we have deficits and have to borrow money to pay our debts. Which adds to our debt.

It is even more IRRESPONSIBLE to incur those debts then say you won't pay them.

The Republican Party has convinced Americans that their economic policy is responsible but it's the most IRRESPONSIBLE economic policy.

Gas is $2.8 by me, the same price it was under Trump precovid.

Gas is not that expensive compared to precovid Trump prices.

Gas is set to go up a lot. I am Long XOM and XLE and oil and gas are set to soar.

Oil demand will normalize to precovid levels in 2022, but the oil companies and OPEC, are not increasing production.
Oil companies have a ton of debt and they have stated they are going to pay down that debt instead of increasing CapEx and expanding production.

There is one component most people don't know about.

The price of oil has been fixed and manipulated by rich people.

The Platts Benchmark has been manipulated for years to keep oil at a false high price.

It never has been about drilling and amount of oil available. There has never been a free market. Especially with oil.

Oil is cheap but because of manipulation by greedy people, we pay much more than we should for oil.

Oh, I’m keeping up just fine. Trump is no longer President. So, we must look at the here and now. The Biden administration has proposed $6 Trillion in new spending in his first 100 days. And with this infrastructure and social spending on the table now, that raises it to $11.5 Trillion in his first year.
