Democratic Debate: December 19, 2015

looks like it will be another barely watched "debate" due to it's scheduled day and time....... Intentionally purposed?
Being afraid of Bernie Sanders is bad for her when she has to face varsity republican. She would be better off showing what she is capable of

We'll see how Hillary withstands a billion dollars in attacks ads from the right, she's got enough baggage in tow for two or three presidential elections worth of attack ads.

Baggage? You mean all that conspiracy shit conjured up by NaziCons?

So has the debate been Bernie talking income inequality and taxing the rich Hillary ducking and dodging answeing questions and O'Malley simply hoping some knows who he is?

Well, if all you have is a bunch of money and a bunch of lies, I guess you have to go with that.

Sure beats the hell out of listening to the Republican debates. No fearmongering and hatemongering.

Trump is going to unload on the old hag she's in for a smack down.

Trump is going to shit and then fall back in it.

Trump never had to duck sniper fire...oh wait neither did Hillary she lied

She was in a war zone with her daughter. Were you?

A Chucky Cheese pizza parlor is more dangerous than any situation she's been in.

Stupid shit like that is why you have zero credibility.

"Now let me tell you what I can remember, OK -- because what I was told was that we had to land a certain way and move quickly because of the threat of sniper fire. So I misspoke -- I didn't say that in my book or other times but if I said something that made it seem as though there was actual fire -- that's not what I was told," she told the newspaper.

"I was told we had to land a certain way, we had to have our bulletproof stuff on because of the threat of sniper fire. I was also told that the greeting ceremony had been moved away from the tarmac but that there was this 8-year-old girl and, I can't, I can't rush by her, I've got to at least greet her -- so I greeted her, I took her stuff and then I left. Now that's my memory of it."

Clinton says she misspoke about sniper fire - CNN.com

Having watched the Democrat debate I have come to the following conclusion. The only Republican candidates who will have a chance to effectively debate Hillary are, Kasich, Rubio, Cruz, Christie or Huckabee. Trump, Florina, Carson, Bush, and the rest have no chance against her. She is too sharp and polished for them. I pick Kasich for his experience, Rubio for his slick tongue, Cruz for his tenacity, Christie and Huckabee for their ability to think on their feet. Trump will be made to look brain dead.

Hillary Clinton will most certainly be the next POTUS. Bernie Sanders wouldn't have a snowballs chance in hell of appealing to Independents or the majority voters in this country.

Trump & his supporters have already chased off 17% of the voting population (Hispanics). They are now solidly in her column. Historically the GOP nominee has to capture at least 40% of this block to win the White House. Trump is polling at a Negative 75% with this group. In fact it's so bad right now, it wouldn't surprise me to see Republicans lose the senate and a ton of seats in the house.

The right wing of the Republican party chased off women in 2012, by going into women's issues, abortion, who's not going to pay for birth control pills, and what is legitimate rape questions, which was always answered by an ancient white Republican male. They lost women by double digits, and younger women by a whopping 36 points, which secured a 2nd term for Barack Obama. This is going to roll over onto any GOP nominee chosen. These two groups won't be coming back to the Republican Party, regardless of who the nominee is. http://www.latimes.com/.../la-oe-0812-mcmanus-gop-woman...

The Republican party is the minority party in this country today at 41 million. Democrats are stronger at 46 million, and Independents are the largest party today, representing 40% of the entire electorate. Now Trump has chased off American Muslim voters. Then you've got all the Republican Chimpanzee's, like Rush Limbaugh and others that are continually insulting the largest voting block in this country--women-- with continual offensive remarks.. They're going to go Crazy Ivan on women's body parts the closer it gets to the election. It's got to be really tough being a woman in the Republican party today. How many will defect and vote for Hillary Clinton, we won't know until after the election. But I imagine there's going to be a few million of them that will defect. They won't move over for any male candidate. As the 1st woman Presidential nominee in 200 years, it would be foolish to give up that advantage by selecting a male nominee for the Democrat nomination.

It's really amazing how the right wing of the Republican party continually promotes Democrats in this manner. These numbers say that Hillary Clinton is going to paint this country blue from sea to shining sea on election night.

Frankly, after reading a lot about Hillary Clinton, I think she is going to make a great President, and I am an Independent--fiscal conservative. Leon Paneta's book tells a heck of a lot about what happened in the Oval Office, and he has nothing but praise for her. Apparently Obama wouldn't listen to anything she or Paneta advised. She is the one that put the pressure on Obama to go after Bin Laden. She is a Hawk and I think she is going to bury ISIS in short order. She also has some Republican senators that say she was a great senator. She had a lot to do with wiping out AIDS in Africa. I think she'll be able to work across the isle to get things done. I am sick and tired of this gridlock, the Tea Party and Rino-Establishment groupies. This will be a 1st for me, the Republican party has finally turned me off. So I am just fine with Hillary Clinton. She's certainly more qualified & experienced than any candidate the other side has been throwing at us.

Her plan.....try harder. Yeah your next candidate Hahahaha

Didn't watch live, watching now. Most interesting and striking so far is the most 2nd. amendment friendly candidate on the stage is the "big socialist" Sanders. And not just in words. He has left gun owners alone in Vermont. He started off his answer about gun policy saying people have the right to guns.

He does want to tighten up some laws and I'm sure there is conservatives opposed to that and I understand their position. I just find it amazing that the "socialist" is least likely to ban or be punitive regarding guns. He voted against holding gun manufacturers responsible for gun deaths and his opponents rip on him for it.
