Democratic Socialist Agenda To Cost $42.5 Trillion In Next Decade, Says … Vox?

Make a huge dent in that by doing the smart thing on healthcare - Expand the current Medicare / Medicare Advantage / Medicare Supplement system to all instead of going to Single Payer.

Maintain dynamic free market competition and innovation while providing strong basic service for all and recipient buy-in.

The perfect combination, but just too sensible for wingers on both ends.
.
How can the govt maintain "free market" competition by getting involved and regulating everything? That doesnt make sense
Look into Medicare Advantage plans and Medicare Supplement plans.

Seriously?

Tell me, what is the difference between a UHC and a BCBS Plan F?

Nothing. Medicare Supplements are standardized. However, they're all free to add services, such as health club memberships, and I can tell you some wonderful stories about how effective they can be, and they make for healthier customers. Then the plans compete on price.

Medicare Advantage Plans are more flexible.

They're not perfect, and yes, plans have networks. Just like individual and group insurance plans.

All in all though, taking the good with the bad, I think this way makes the most sense.
