democrats war on Christianity continues. NY legislators want to force Chick-fil-a to be open Sundays

No, I try to avoid it, actually... but we have similar things in IL. Point is, they have these thruways to meet customer needs on long trips, and if Chick-Fil-Hate isn't meeting that, someone else who will should be.

I don't go to Church for food, and I don't go to a restaurant for religion.
/——/ Good news, they don’t serve religion at Chick-FIL-A. They close on the sabbath. You’ll have to settle for a Whopper one day a week.

The fact the government knew exactly what Chik Fil La is about... but now want them to conform

If this is all you have sit down and shut up

I don't have time to deal with your fckn nonsense
As previously noted, what chickfila is about it selling chicken. They are a fast food restaurant.

Chick Fil A is a religious organization, the government forcing them to change their religious beliefs is against the 1st Amendment which guarantees freedom of religion.

Although in this case, the real problem isn't the fact that CFA isn't open Sundays, but that fact that they oppose the idea of men violating each other's butt holes and the libs in Albany want to punish that.
Nope, just don't renew their con-tract on the Thruway rest stops.

"While there is nothing objectionable about a fast food restaurant closing on a particular day of the week, service areas dedicated to travelers is an inappropriate location for such a restaurant," the legislation says. "Publicly owned service areas should use their space to maximally benefit the public. Allowing for retail space to go unused one-seventh of the week or more is a disservice and unnecessary inconvenience to travelers who rely on these service areas."
And that doesn’t change the fact this law if passed will be challenged and very likely will be struck down as an infringement on religious freedom rights. Personally I find that reasoning to be full of bullshit and think it has more to do with lawmakers holding a grudge against a restaurant that doesn’t bow down to the LGTV community. I find it hard to believe anyone doesn’t know Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays and would be surprised by that. Should the state also be able to force restaurants to be open 24 hours a day l that would also maximize the benefit to the public if that’s the basis for this law.

I agree it would be wrong of them to change the contract and try to force them to be open on Sunday. I would also support the state not renewing the contract if they did not agree to be open on Sundays
Godless lib hate against the Chick is outdated

You guys hate the old Chick-fil-a that believed in God

The new Chick only believes in money and they will not lose business over God

So relax

My guess is that if they are pushing Chick-Full-Hate on the issue, it's because they've gotten a shitload of consumer complaints that "I drove 200 miles and wanted something to eat and they were closed!"
Does NY only allow Chick-fil-a to sell food at their rest stops?

which violates their First Amendment rights. NY knew the Chick-fil-a policy when they signed the contracts; now these two want to change the rules. It's not like there are no other choices for travelers to make.
State bill targets Chick-fil-A hours at Thruway service plazas
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two New York State lawmakers have introduced a new bill, with the focus on Chick-fil-A and its business hours along the Thruway.

The bill would require Chick-fil-A restaurants at New York State Thruway service plazas to be open seven days a week. Chick-fil-A is known for its chicken, and for having its locations closed on Sundays.
There point about THRUWAY SERVICE PLAZAS may be valid,
IF Chick-a is the only BUSINESS staying closed at these locations, Then they need to live with the situation.
ALL know that this is Chicks company's policy.

The NY Thruway has multiple restaurants as well as vending machines at their rest stops.

Sunday travelers already know that CFA is closed, so they will just have to go to the BK or Taco Bell adjacent
So the lib lie that this is not anti Christian arm twisting is exposed

They can stay closed on Sunday's, but not on the publicly owned service areas. I don't blame Chik fil A, I blame whoever allowed them to operate a restaurant there in the first place. They should have known about this in advance and not allowed them to be in this space.

So now Chik fil A can vacate this space, not a big deal.

So we can assume all State offices will be open these same hours?
