If the documents or first hand witnesses would provide exculpatory evidence of their client, the would MOST CERTAINLY turn them over. There would be no reason for them to not want to clear their client asap, before being charged.
Not given the circumstances. Keep in mind, the House was led by Adam Schiff. This would be like your ex-wife's best friend being the judge in your case. You do not want to give them anything whatsoever to go on. Don't turn over documents and you shouldn't be charged with anything given the lack of evidence. Obviously, your ex-wife's best friend, the judge, wouldn't care and may charge you anyway. BTW, the single most important document of all, the transcript from the call, was turned over at the very start. The Democrats realized they didn't have anything and even dropped the Quid Pro Quo narrative and went with obstruction of congress instead, meaning, we have nothing but we can try to get a process crime out of this thing.
