Desantis will take a hit if the 17 accused of fraud are found not guilty

Bullshit, it's up to the individual to know if they are eligible to vote or not. There was no entrapment. The Application to register is pretty straight foreword and doesn't leave anything to the imagination.

.
The question on the form asks that they affirm they’ve had their voting rights restored. These individuals thought their voting rights had been restored. It’s not always easy to figure out if that’s the case or not and DeSantis is incentivized to make it harder. Republicans in Florida have been fighting the will of the voters on this ever since the ballot measure passed.

I worry a lot less about these people than assholes like Mark Meadows who rented a trailer and claimed it was his primary residence so he could vote in North Carolina. That’s clearly intentional fraud.

your link showed it was a local admin

so? they caught them.

and so what? how many federal people are charged with crimes that obama charged? xiden? that have been dismissed or found not guilty?

OBAMA. Lol

Not sure whether it is a desire for more votes or the same old undisciplined touchy feel liberal viewpoint watching out for these poor, poor felons. I cannot say that you are wrong though.

When Trump supporters illegally vote in the name of their dead relatives, Florida sentences them to a civics class.

When it’s people with a conviction who thought they were allowed to vote then Florida wants to throw the book at then.

It’s clear to me who is the bigger problem.

Lengthy sentences in the bowels of a federal prison for "shitting on democracy and the Constitution, and thwarting the will of the actual voters".
Exactly what is deserved for those J6 insurrectionists.

That is interesting. Don't wish to be a dumbass, but which Franklin are you quoting and do the know the context?

It looks like 17 people in Florida were told that they had the right to vote even though they were not eligible.

Then they voted, and Desantis finalized the entrapment by charging them with fraud crime.

Is a judge tosses the chargers, this will be a big hit for Desantis as nobody will ever believe him when he claims fraud, like Trump.

Let's hope these people don't get convicted so Desantis doesn't get this credited.
Take a hit from who? The democrats who arent voting for him?

So you think these folks are incapable of calling the FL SoS office to verify if their voting rights were restored or not, before they registered and voted? I find it really funny how you commies are selectively soft on criminals.

One of the 20 people arrested for voting illegally as part of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' effort to crack down on voter fraud had his charges dismissed on Friday.

A Miami state judge threw out the case against Robert Lee Wood, ruling that the statewide prosecutor, who is overseeing all 20 cases, had no jurisdiction because the alleged crime did not occur in at least two judicial circuits.

The decision could pave the way for similar findings in some or all of the other cases, though local prosecutors could still choose to refile the charges. Statewide prosecutor Nick Cox said his office would appeal the ruling.

Florida man's voter fraud charges dismissed in blow to DeSantis

I guess the administration does not understand the laws of the state and how it applies to them.

You guess wrong. Oh, DeSantis has traps set for election fraud Democrats this time, too. ;)

No more buses full of illegals voting or caravans of out-of-state blacks voting here, either.

I mean, they can this time, but it will give away the entire Democrat cheating method because Mr. Ron is on top of that. ;)

That's what's coming for Democrat vote fraudsters, time in Federal prisons. PS: There's WAYYYYY many more pissed off Americans than those that tried to get Congress to hear them on 1/6 2020.

If you think that was something big, if the Democrats fuck up too bad, you're going to be pewping your pantalones.

Well dang, it appears that Desantis hired someone here illegally to do his work for him.

A Venezuelan migrant unable to legally work in the United States was paid to help coordinate Gov. Ron DeSantis’ migrant flight program, putting the Republican governor’s high-profile political gambit in conflict with his long-standing push to crack down on undocumented labor.

DeSantis cracked down on migrant labor. Then one helped coordinate his migrant flights

His push has been all talk anyway.

Boom, down goes another case for the same reason as the last.

A Miami judge has tossed out another voter fraud case brought by Gov. Ron DeSantis’ elections police, the third case to fall apart since the governor announced the arrests.

On Wednesday, Circuit Judge Laura Anne Stuzin reached the same conclusion as another Miami judge did in a different voter’s case, saying that statewide prosecutors didn’t have the ability to bring charges against Ronald Lee Miller.

Another Florida voter fraud case dismissed. Miami judge rejects statewide prosecutor

"Barrar added, “Let this be a lesson to all not to use the legal system for political gain and waste taxpayers’ hard earned money.

you understand the judge is saying a local prosecutor can bring a charge, not the statewide attorney, under that stat.

the gov team is bringing thjs stuff to light. that’s good.
