Did the Tucker Video Gambit Work?

You appear to have a reading comprehension challenge.
Please get informed. I’m not a Trumper. So, no need to hate me. However I am all for protecting the civil rights of ALL Americans. You should be too.

Newly-released footage of Jason Chansley aka the “Q Shaman”, shows him telling his fellow protesters to “go home”, following Donald Trump’s text and video tweets, telling his followers to be the “party of law and order” that “respects law enforcement”.

Chansley goes on to tell the crowd, “We’re not Antifa!”

This video blows two holes in the entire premise of the January 6th Committee, 1. That Donald Trump was behind an “insurrection” at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 and 2. That Trump supporters at the protest were violent insurrectionists committing the worst act of violence against our “democracy” since 9/11, Pearl Harbor, or the Civil War.

In many states, including Washington DC, a "duty to retreat" is stipulated as a requirement before deadly force is legally justified.

Don't know where you live...but it is imperative to understand that duty...especially if you live in the Northeast or California.

That is where the legislative shorthand "stand your ground" is derived.

In a "stand your ground" state...you do NOT have a duty to retreat.

In a duty to retreat state, if someone breaks into your home or business...you have a legal duty to run away if you can...driven from your own home by criminals.
What a damn dumbass, the duty to retreat only applies in public spaces, not private homes and businesses.

Only these states have a Castle Doctrine ...

We aren't talking about a deadly force scenario...we are just talking about someone entering your occupied house through a broken window.

In many states, in that situation, you have a duty to retreat is possible.

That's a fact

Are you flippin kidding me? You are so full of shit, and so damn stupid, that it is laughable. Look, I admit, I am in North Carolina, but you break into my house and I will filet your ass like you were being prepared for a Chinese buffet.

Your website is comical, every link goes to a lawyer referral site. Look it, someone breaks into your home and you blow their ass away, you don't need a flippin lawyer. In fact, your site's link practically admits that, unless the culprit is law enforcement, and to be honest, that don't make two shits. The police knock down my door with a no-knock warrant they are going to be looking at a knife in the throat and I don't need a referral from some lame ass website.

You'll be fine in North Carolina.

I'll be better in Missouri.

In D.C., even in your home...unless you are under IMMEDIATE THREAT OF DEATH...you have a duty to retreat...even from your own home.

" The self-defense laws for Maryland, Virginia and D.C. vary, but each jurisdiction has some type of law in place that addresses when it's deemed legally justified to use a firearm in self-defense.
Both Maryland and Virginia follow what's called a castle doctrine, which allows homeowners to use deadly force to protect themselves, their home and their family. However, the use of deadly force must be considered reasonable.

Here's a break down of the laws in D.C., Maryland and Virginia:

D.C.
The District does not have a law targeted specifically to a home intruder. In terms of self-defense, D.C. has a law that states a person can defend themselves when they truly believe that they're in danger of bodily harm or death. However, the law also states the person is required to take reasonable measures by stepping back or walking away.
Section 22-40503.01 of D.C.'s law allows someone to use a firearm if it's done in legitimate self-defense. For more information on the laws, click here. "

IOW... you're fucking wrong as the day is long.

Now keep your fucking mouth shut when you have no fucking earthly idea what the fuck you're talking about and calling those who DO idiots.

Savvy?

P.S. - D.C. IS NOT the only area where this applies.

If your state does NOT have a Castle Doctrine Law or equivalent on the books ... you better make DAMN sure you know what laws apply to a home invasion situation.

No. You’re watching state controlled media reports about Tuckers report. You might watch the actual video from Tucker. He clearly state’s violence did occur that day.

You’re allowing yourself to be duped , which you claim Trumpers do.
He showed one minute of the milder violence and called it hooliganism… ignoring all the rest

Tucker managed to rile up "the base" with his cherry picked release of minutes of the Jan 6 Capitol attack but even GOP legislators condemned it as dishonest

www.vox.com

Tucker Carlson’s January 6 lies throw Republicans into disarray

Senate Republicans are condemning Carlson’s downplaying of the insurrection. House leaders, not so much.

So aside from giving "the Following" something to yak about for a while...did it accomplish anything?

Do Independents now think that Jan 6 was just a "tour of the Capitol?
Some were being escorted as if it was a tour for them (the non-violent one's), but of course there was the rowdy one's who were trouble for the officer's on watch. We as citizen's unlike you leftist know how to discern and delineate the information properly.

You are just in damage control mode, and that is understandable when your biased panel of investigator's held back important information that needed to be shared properly with the authorities of the court's.

You link does not support your claim. Just the opposite

So why would Tucker not show all the violence that occurred that day? Or ANY of it…
Because it had already been shown, so his show was based upon the hidden video that was held back in which might could have exonerated people if it would have been entered into the record as it should have been.

The dishonest right seeks only whitewash and lie about the 1/6 rightwing domestic terrorist attack on America’s democracy.

The American people don’t believe the right’s lies.
Can't answer the question, huh, meat licker?

He was trying to pretend the violence was minimal. It wasn’t. That was a dishonest characterization, other wise known as a lie

Tucker wants to get stupid people to watch his show so he can sell commercials. And let's just be honest, you can never underestimate the intelligence of the American people.
Say's a leftist... ROTFLMBO 🤣

Your interpretation, because you look at everything through leftist goggles. Take them thick things off sometimes, then you might realize that the picture is more clearer and yet more different than you thought.
