Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., and Anna Eshoo, D-Calif., outlaws written, digital or telephonic communications about the Census that “has the intent to impede or prevent another person from participating in any census.”

The bill is not about restricting the government's right to assert whatever bullshit it wants. God only knows we see enough bullshit coming out of the government all the time.

It is about the government restricting the right of American citizens to criticize.
