The 2 party system is at the root of all the division that we have today in the U.S. When the big money gravitated to dem or gop and started betting on the candidate that best represented their interests, the process turned into something resembling a pro wrestling match.

We may never get out of this mess, but one thing is certain: If we keep electing the establishment candidate it will certainly stay a 2 party system with the fat cats OF BOTH PARTIES getting their way in the end.

HOWEVER

If this flier is an organized attempt to disrupt a rally through violence, then several laws are being broken. It is therefore doubtful that any propagandist would try to recruit protestors in or around the event. Mainly due to the fact that they will be caught/infiltrated by law enforcement.

If a leftist org planned to disrupt a rally, they are forced to recruit and ship in people from some distance--at least not in nor near the event. Also, they would relie on diehard loyalist versus any thug off the street. Plus, given the high movement of actual thugs at and around the event, it is difficult to tell who is working and who is slacking off so random thugs less useful.

In short, I doubt fliers or ads on Craigslist would pop up days before an event , near the event, are creditable.

Of course, it is possible they are legit. Suggesting the organizers behind it are fools. But it is highly suspicious.

Friedman wrote a book called The Lexus and the Olive Tree back in the early auts. It explains globalization and what the sad truth is about globalization using poingant examples both anecdotal and from a third person perspective. He reveals why wages are not going anywhere, why profits will not go anywhere except for monthly to bi or even tri-monthly outliers until a specific need is met. He explains the golden strait-jacket that nations are forced to wear the world over.

The name of the book comes from a trip he made from Japan to Israel. In Japan, he visited a Lexus Factory. He got there by riding a 320 mph train while eating sushi. At the factory, he saw the most advanced factory in the world, making the most advanced cars available. Twelve hours later, he was watching a centuries old play in Israel as they fought over valueless land that had nothing other than markers of pride for whomever prevailed.

If you think our discussions here are intense...find a message board discussing the book. Its a classic battle (not much different than our elections) between those who are willing to embrace (begrudgingly in most cases) the change forced upon us and those who resist it and always, always, ALWAYS lose.

It sort of prefaces the election we're having now in a real way. Do we move forward or do we go the way of re-fighting century old battles over skin color and religion?
