Do You Think Climate Change is a Pressing Issue?

Losing an area of rainforest the size of Panama is a problem, there are also huge swaths of plastic debris pooling in the oceans, and corporate control of the means of energy production makes the American people dependent on pumping poison out of the ground in order to get to work. This has been the norm for at least the past 100 years.

You're an imbecile if you think that all of this combined can't effect the environment.

Legalize Cannabis Sativa again and the Greenhouse Effect will begin to reverse. Hemp makes more paper than trees, and hemp makes more food and more transportation fuel than corn. The downside to this plan is that corporations cannot monopolize Cannabis production and control the profits. Anyone can grow hemp, and Monsanto doesn't own the patent on a single seed.

Yeah, right. If corporations didn't exist, then we would all be driving cars powered by unicorn farts that don't pollute and leave a nice fragrance. Corporations don't make people dependent on anything. corporations provide people with stuff they want, and an efficient reliable means of transportation is what almost everyone wants.

The claim about the plastic debris is also horseshit. Garbage goes into land fills, not the ocean.

The claim about Losing an area of rainforest the size of Panama every year is also utter horseshit If that were true, then the rainforest would have been entirely gone years ago.

You're an imbecile if you think that all of this combined can't effect the environment.

This is about the climate, moron, not the environment. I affect the environment every time I flush my toilet.

I doubt legalizing Cannabis will make the oil industry disappear.

Have you ever been to college? Pretend like you have ever been to college. When you write a college paper, you have to cite references for information that you claim is true. If you cite World Net Daily or some other online tabloid for a college paper, you will fail. I can appreciate that principle, and so I use it on this board. I know that this forum is not on par even with an online college but I respect facts and research, which is why I disrespect Conservatives.

If I say that hemp can make transportation fuel instead of petroleum thus ending international war for oil and reducing overall global pollution, I would have to back that up with a link, right? And if I do post a link to support this crazy commie libturd idea, you would read it, right? You wouldn't automatically dismiss it all as crazy commie libturd bullshit, right?

What if I post multiple links? Will you please read each of them before you respond?

To summarize, legalizing Cannabis Sativa will replace petroleum for the world's energy.

Enough of an issue on which to spend tens of trillions of dollars at the cost of tens of millions of jobs?

Nah.

The high price of oil & lack of alternative energy is killing the economy, reducing travel, transport of goods, services, etc.

Total Vehicle Miles Traveled stopped growing & actually decreased, killing the economic growth. The 1,000% spike in oil price is the culprit.

So legal pot is going to replace oil, coal, and natural gas???? Really, are you that fricken stupid?

I don't care if they legalize the shit and use it make adult diapers. If you want to destroy your lungs and shorten your life for a short term high, go right ahead. short lives for liberals would be good for civilization.

I say enjoy the place while you can because there is really nothing you can due to stop normal climate change. You have super volcano in Yellowstone due to erupt. That in itself would nearly destroy the entire planet. Regional nuclear war in the east vs. Pakistan and India would be an excellent way to save the planet. Billions dead, major cool down. Limited crop seasons. The commies would starve to death and most of Africa.

All the climate change experts got it wrong. Only The Old Farmers Almanac got it right when it said this would be a long cold snowy winter.

No, it has to be legalized so that the DEA stops cutting it down and arresting Americans for growing fields outside in the sun as Nature intended. Personal use doesn't even matter. The Shafer Commission said so in 1972.

You are aware that industrial hemp is the real target of marijuana prohibition, right? Please read those links.

One of you talking monkeys said something like "Global Warming is a scam that costs the taxpayers tens of trillions of dollars and hundreds of millions of jobs", or something equally ridiculous.

Who spends "tens of trillions" of dollars on fighting global warming? Reducing pollution? Ending deforestation? "Tens of TRILLIONS".

Back that figure up with a link. Where are the "hundreds of millions of jobs" or whatever? Jobs doing what? Hundreds of millions of coal miners? Oil derrick workers?

Rich industrialists are using you. They're ruining your planet and telling you through their mainstream FOX News corporate media that the Greenhouse Effect, deforestation and rampant pollution are not a problem.

:blahblah:
More enviro wacko pap.

When did that happen?
And where in the US is this rain forest?
While hemp should be used here, your point on the plant is a non sequitur regarding this thread.
If you wish to discuss the merits of Hemp, start a thread on that subject.
