Absolutely not. The God of the Bible is a totalitarian, vengeful, aggressive and violent asshole.
But how does that make it not real? Why can't a god be totalitarian, vengeful, aggressive, violent, or an asshole?
Because an actual, perfect omnipotent deity would possess none of those failings.
Who said a god has to be perfect? The Abrahamic god isn't claimed to be perfect or omnipotent or not vengeful etc in the Old Testament. Christianity started adding to the character.
Whatever the Canaanite were doing, they obviously angered the God of the Middle East enough that He sentenced them all including women and children and all animals to death.

As a Jewish friend once told me, the statute of limitations has probably run on that issue thousands of years ago.

Unless of course your own doctrine confuses Jesus with the God of the Old Testament and confuses the God of the Old Testament with Jesus in the New Testament.
I'm confused. Are you saying there is more than one God or that Jesus was not divine?

the written conversation of the bible is what is lacking, whatever it may be that is evil is punishable. and is so by the Almighty. making little difference what is not entitled to the Everlasting anyway.

So far the only thing you've convinced me of is that you are incredibly arrogant. You seem to think you know something the rest of us poor simpletons do not. I can't tell if you were told this secret knowledge or discovered it on your own but either way, I sincerely doubt it is anything more than a mirage. You certainly have trouble putting it into understandable words but, as you say, least you can do is try. So far I see no such effort being made, in fact you seem to enjoy obfuscation.

lol... I see. You think I'm trying to convince you about something. You have been asking questions and I have given you the answers to your questions. You have been having trouble understanding.

That is what is actually happening.

and yes, I'm having a little fun with you. How could I resist? Why should I feel bad because you have piles of garbage in your head when I have shown you the way to a better conscious state of mind? Why should I even try to be clear when you are obviously insincere and your questions are only traps that have failed to ensnare me?

Maybe you didn't realize this as smug in your ignorance as you are but can I see through you pal.

Instead of trying to see through me you should take a hard look at yourself.

When a person attempts to light the wick of a lamp with fire but it fails to catch on and only smolders its because the lamp has no oil, the problem is not with the flame.

You are just a pauper trying to convince me that there is no such thing as wealth while I'm sitting on a hoard of buried treasure.

That analogy DOES NOT rate up there with the burning bush.......just in case you planned it that way.

I once had a burning bush, antibiotics did the trick!

The burning bush, the glory of God, the chariots of fire, the encircling radiance, etc., , are all subjective descriptions of what a prophet sees in their mind before receiving a message from God. It is translucent and transparent and radiates the colors of the rainbow like light through the many facets of a sparkling diamond. It is seen in the mind and is superimposed over whatever is beyond in the field of vision, like a bush, which might at first appear to be burning in a strange fire without being consumed.

When Moses got closer to what was opening up in his mind like a wormhole tearing the fabric of space and time, he heard God speak.

On what basis are you claiming that?

There is no known way for you to know that that is what Moses or anyone else experienced.

When Moses got closer to what was opening up in his mind like a wormhole tearing the fabric of space and time, he heard God speak.
How can you rule out some other god? Or fairies? Or aliens? Or time travelers? Or time-travelling aliens?

Very poetic. And you know this how?

Maybe there's some Supreme Being I don't know but I'm sure the God of the bible doesn't exist.
It's made up because it's too anthropomorphic :)

Just think for a minute what that 1/10 of each family's crops amounted to way back then. The whole God thing was devised by con men like Joseph Smith and they got rich from it while people who gave 10% of everything did the best they could. Just look at some of the fruits:

Bad people exist. Your argument might have been fun but it is irrelevant. Just because God is bad doesn't mean he doesn't exist.

Like I said before.....All Ancient God Worship is Pure, Unadulaterated Horse Shit! Anything you're expecting Gawd to take care of I recommend that you get off your ass and take care of it yourself.

I'm not saying that God exists. Saying that he doesn't exist because he is mean is an extremely horrible argument.
