Drs. Rebelling Against O'Care, Famous Hospitals Refusing to Join

I think Obamacare may solve the immigration problem. It seems as though Doctors are now going to go to work picking grapefruit, comquats, etc...

Thank you Mr. President.

Some Drs. are rebelling against Obamacare and then Obamacare are rejecting Drs. as well.

I have had the same doctor for 30 years. When Obamacare was passed, I asked him what he was going to do. He said that he just had to hire another person to work with the insurance paperwork. A group of doctors that he associates with, estimated that Obamacare would literally double the paperwork that they were now coping with just for private insurance. He told me at that time that he wasn't sure what he was going to do, but payments for services were down and requirements for paperwork was way up.

A year later, when I went in for a visit, my doctor told me that he was no longer accepting insurance of any kind. You wanted to see him, then you had to pay cash. He also advised that I could pay a monthly amount and I could then see him anytime for any length of time for any reason. He explained that since he was moving to an 'all cash' business, he was going to be able to lay off five of his office clerks and reduce the amount of paperwork exponentially. He got the idea while in Washington state attending a conference. Apparently, theres a large number of doctors there who started a cash only clinic and were literally swamped with business. They have had to turn doctors away.

It was about six months later when he told me that he was joining a group of doctors that were all going to the cash only business. I pay him $200.00 a month and when I call for an appointment, I go in and get to see him for as long as I need. What routine stuff he used to send me to others for, he now does in his office. If I called him, he even told me that he would come out to the ranch anytime.

Obamacare may have done something unintended. It may have brought BETTER health care to those who want no part of it.

Yup. There's a Doctor in Apex NC doing the same. He doesn't accept Medicare, Medicaid or any insurance. Its all strictly cash.

His paperwork and red tape are none existant. Cash works and he will set up payment plans if you need it.

His rates are listed on a board as you come in the door.

He's beating those wanting to be new patients off with a club.

I think this is something you will be seeing more and more of.

OK, that's just a visit, generally people do not see doctors regularly if they are healthy.
What are you doing for lab work, screening procedures and elective surgery?
It will also go this direction, but I am just interested if there is any model already.

i think the free market model is great because you get rid of most of the middlemen...like government, employers, and insurance companies that dictate your every minor healthcare need...... instead you have the choice of picking and choosing your care, you can cross state lines, the doctor is in charge of his business, clinics/hospitals operate freely....thus services become competitive and prices drop...it's also great incentive for people to be responsible and take care of themselves...

you could go see any doctor available....when he needed various tests those can be outsourced to labs/clinics where you would pay cash for them.....when you needed minor surgery/treatments you could be sent to specialists/clinics where you would also pay cash....or set up a payment plan....tax free Health Savings Accounts could help prepare for your health needs....for major problems you could buy catastrophic coverage which would be a low monthly premium...poor people could simply be given vouchers to help pay for the care of their choice on the free market...

just think.....we could eventually get rid of both government behemoths.....Medicare and Medicaid....

I am all for it. The problem is the government and it's gestapo rules and regulations.

yep the never-ending battle for power over the individual.....it's sad so many fall for the nannycare lie because it just ain't what it's cracked up to be...but at least Obammycare is starting to wake people up....

I know...more people to pick grapefruit, clear tables, lay bricks. Obviously this will help solve the immigration problems. Obama's playing on a different level.

There were and are providers who refuse to participate in RomneyCare. Blue Cross Blue Shield is one of them.

This has not killed RomneyCare, nor affected its supermajority popularity in Massachusetts.

There are non-participating doctors and hospitals in every network, public or private.

ObamaCare is here to stay.

don't even pay attention to obamabot.
romneycare is a failure.
ER visits skyrocketed after it's implementation.
and costs are through the roof.
in order to have care one must drive from one side of MA to the other - and MA has a higher ratio of Dr per population unit than any other state.

If a doctor takes all cash, does that still mean Obama will tax people that don't have Health insurance? Meaning you pay twice.

This underscores what I have been saying. Insurance companies have NO BUSINESS in the matters of human health.

Other 1st World countries know this. Why America does not? It's called a corporatocracy and the insurance companies and banks are its monarchs.

And Obama/Dems passed a law forcing people to pay them... Grats, you supported the very thing you claim to hate.

This is getting fucking retarded.

Romeneycare runs a massive deficit that the rest of the country has to pay for, so it's not the same, stop talking you sound stupid.

What happens when Obamacare runs hundreds of billions of deficit spending alone? Romneycare just get's a check from the Federal Government....

"WARNING RANK SARCASM FOLLOWING!!!
How selfish! Your doctor profiteering off human health is scandalous!

"to the ranch"??? Made with evil profits off human suffering I bet!

What did Comrade Obama tell the Chrysler bondholders, legally entitled to first dibs on the company's remaining assets during its bankruptcy proceedings?

"You don't like what I'm offering you, then you'll get nothing!"

As for the providers who refuse to participate in Obamacare, "If you refuse to treat the people who are enrolled in my plan and accept what I give you then you can choose between working on a garbage truck or as a street sweeper for the rest of your lives or you can stand in front of a stone wall and be shot"

Both Obama Regulatory Czar, Cass Sunstein, and the head of the Office of White House Communications, Anita Dunne, were enamored with former Chinese Communist Party Chairman Mao tse Tung and his quote "All power emanates from the barrel of a gun".

Sounds like this is the end...

Sincerely,

"Obamacare is Unconstitutional"

cc: "Obamacare will cost him the election"
I am neither a lawyer nor a constitutional scholar, but I do know what a clusterfuck is.

Suddenly, when the flaws of Obamacare are exposed and played out, the discussion shifts to RomneyCare.

How strange. Obama owns this debacle, and that's the price he pays for stealing ideas that don't work.

I heard about this on a local radio show just today. It seems that if you pay a monthly amount, and then just carry catestrophic insurance in case you have a major health issue, you end up saving 1000's of dollars a year, plus you get better and more personalized service. When you actually pay the doctor for his time, you save a lot of money and don't end up paying for the government overhead.

You need to be careful however. The local radio show host was a chiropractor and he said that when he went to an all cash business, the government audited him for possible discrimination against medicare patients. It cost him a good bundle of cash to beat the government back, but he said it was worth it in the end. His patients are better off for his dropping government payments.

Medicare only pays about 40 cents on the dollar and triples the paperwork, which basically will put a doctor out of business.

I'm going to look into this. It could save Me a lot of money.
