The country was going to be a ticking bomb due to lack of strong leadership. So we stayed long after or "mission" (whatever that was) was accomplished knowing that if we occupied Iraq until 3030 ISIS types would still emerge. We talked about this long before Obama was elected, and Bush set a withdrawal date for well after his term just so he could walk away clean. Obama could have broken Bush's promise, probably would have been praised for it, but he didn't. And aren't you glad! Gives you bullcrap to toss against the wall.

1. Of course Obama (as Commander in Chief of all the military) personally commanded that MAJOR Nidal Hasan be retained. In ft it an inescapeable obvious conclusion. No one else had the rank to allow Hasan to remain, against the wishes of Fort Hood's officers. Yes, he commanded it, and is responsible.

2. No, I'm not saying a group like ISIS wouldn't form after US troops leaving Iraq. I said just the opposite - that they WOULD form ("If US troops had stayed in Iraq in 2011, ISIS wouldn't have taken over as they did") Having reading comprehension difficulty ?
