yeah....you didn't pay attention to the truth did you.....if you had you wouldn't have posted that post.....the decision wasn't that the election would go the wrong way, it was that you couldn't count ballots by different standards and call that fair...even within a state. And again, Citizens United just said corporations and unions could donate money to campaigns...pretty common sense...for normal people....

Those are the stated reasons. They are illogical. But poor excuses are better than none, I suppose.

Corporations and unions can donate. How fair! Corporations can outspend unions 100 to 1. Let's hear it for common sense.

In the case of Florida why were not all the votes thrown out? If the state can't have a proper standard it should be excluded.

Criminals get due process and then are treated differently.

No, she did not. She had absolutely nothing to do with writing the law. The Solicitor General represents the United States in cases in the Supreme Court. When she left, there were not ACA cases before the Supreme Court and only one had initially reached the Appeals Court. More to the point, what if she did recuse. The outcome would have been the same, only the vote would have been 5 to 3. Can you count?

The hell she didn't....otherwise why would she have been asked to recuse herself and refused to? And don't give me the "her vote didn't matter" bullshit...she had no right to vote.

Judges are asked to recuse themselves all the time and usually refuse.

Just as Justice Thomas did when he as asked to recuse himself.

This is a pure example of the absurdity of putting people on a supreme court for life. They should be able to be recalled by a public vote.
