I feel a little bad for the Trump cultists.

For over a year now, their conservative media masters fed them fake stories about how there was no legal case against Trump, that Trump would easily be acquitted, and that the judge and prosecution would all go to jail.

Now reality has slapped them down.

The Trump cultists were given the mushroom treatment by their masters, fed bullshit and kept in the dark. They're starting to realize that. The cognitive dissonance hurts their little cult brains, which are now having a Smeagol-Gollum type "MASTER IS ALWAYS GOOD, BUT MASTER LIED TO ME" self-conversation.
