There are more guns in the world specifically designed to kill people. There are 1 million in North Korea alone - let alone China, Russia, USA...almost every second household in the ME and parts of Africa have a firearm designed to kill people. Every CCW or person with an open carry license have those things specifically to carry a firearm to 'protect' themselves against other people - not rogue caribou..

If a gun didn't have the capability to kill people, it would be useless for the purpose of self defense, so what you want to do is strip people of the ability to defend themselves.

not so much. More the type of weapons they have available to defend themselves. Hand guns and shotguns? While I see them as totally unnecessary, your constitution says you are allowed to have them, and I see those type of weapons as being okay. Assault-type semi autos not so much.

No really. Mainly due to accuracy issues and magazine capabilities. At the end of the day I have a problem with how such a 'modern' society like the US needs tobe armed to the teeth. I have my notions as to why you have that mindset. None of 'em good.
