So far the message board seems fairly silent about the HHS Secretary at the hearings. The Republicans are clearly so mad at ObamaCare, that what makes them really mad is that it is taking so long for so many to enroll at the website(?)!

95% of U. S. business is unaffected by the business insurance rules, for example. The stock market seems to have noticed. The new Anti-Business Party, GOP, appears to have not noticed that at all.

So now even FOX notices this:

"The secretary denied that Obama had broken his promise and claimed that for the most part, people who had coverage as of March 2010 can keep their current plans -- provided their insurance companies haven't changed them significantly. That wrinkle, however, was rarely explained by Obama before now."

So since the insurance companies have gutted all the old plans, then under ObamaCare patient rights--then actually they have to charge people for real health plans, instead! For that there is even federal money! GOP, of course, is opposed to insurance companies having all the revenue!

So GOP is even now showing itself to be business unfriendly(?), allowing HHS Secretary to explain The Health Care Act--hour after hour--on nationwide televised hearings! The Democrats now come across way more business friendly. There is no Speaker Pelosi, even: Shutting down the federal government, and putting all loans and credit at risk. There are mainly Republicans, wanting to take the federal money away from the people and the entire health plan industry!

Great Socialist, Karl Marx, in fact: Had originally opined for the widespread centralization of credit. Even China seems to be on board, with that--like Ben Bernanke.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Lands of Many nations now selling firewater back to many White Eyes--and for a lot more than just beads and trinkets!)

you seem to have forgotten the history of Obamas "you can keep your plan" rhetoric.

Those against the ACA were saying that the way the plan is written, insurance companies will be forced to change their policies forcing many to lose their plans even if they want to keep them.

SO the Obama administration went out there debunking it by saying..

"if you want to keep your plan, you can keep it. Period."

So, in essence, he debunked exactly what is happening.

It is absolutely true that Sebilius said that. We all heard it.

Just like we all know that obamacare made current insurance policies illegal and that's why so many people lost their coverage.

Junk insurance policies that were costing me, you, and everyone else when the people holding these policies had catostrophic illnesses then failed to pay the bill.

It only affected those that did not have the time, desire or energy to read before they signed.

But what the hell.....I guess we, the people are just too dam lazy and such laziness is acceptable, so the government will intervene to ensure our laziness doesn't have a negative affect on us.

Now there is federal money. Now the Republicans want to take all that away! So how does the busines community react to the federal shutdown and the start of Affordable Health Care.

Almost missing on CNBC, West Coast today, was stock market news. World stock markets are probably doing so well this month that really: There is nothing much else to say about them, during this month of start of Affordable Health Care in the United States.

Maybe that explains why the GOP chairman, of the particular committee, created the hearings in the first place. Now the Administration has been able to go on record--in some depth--about how the whole thing works! That is now due to Secretary HHS, Kathleen Sebelius. Rep. Bachmann is not involved. . .or engaged. . .or. . .well!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!
(Maybe White Eyes Take Whisky back. . .and then sell that to Somali Pirates(?). . .or something(?)!)

So much for their previous whine, that nobody wanted it!:lol::lol:

Every poll shows that the majority of the American people do not want it.

But the majority of the people likely don't want speed limits at 55 MPH....but they obey because it is the law.

High volume as people get their letters saying "you are being dropped" is not a sign of people liking the law.

It is a sign of people having no choice but obey the law if they want insurance.

someone uses Faux instead of Fox news and we are suppose to take them serious..

pfeeeesh

I, for the life of me, can not see how you came to that conclusion based on what I posted.

I got the explanation of benefits before I signed on.

I read them, understood them, and signed for them.

If there was something in it I did not like, I passed on it.

Like someone said in the hearing today...

"insurance before the guidelines of the ACA was like buying a car without an engine"

Really?

If I wanted to buy a car with an engine, I would pass on the one without an engine....but that didn't mean that the person selling the car without an engine couldn't try to sell it..

Afterall, there are people that buy shells of cars for the parts.

Bottom line...

If you read the credit card contract, you would know the rate.

If you read the terms of your mortgage, you would know the terms.

If you read the benefits of the insurance policy, you would know the benefits.

But in todays America?

If you don't read the credit card contract before you sign, you are a victim.,

If you don't read a mortgage terms before you sign, you are a victim

If you didn't read the terms of your health insurance policy before you signed, you are a victim.

Sad.

That really is a stupid post. The Republican congressmen represent their constituents. Who do you think elects them? Why wouldn't they be trying to make it easier on their constituents. I think this has been the biggest debacle for many Americans than anyone could imagine. Well, most of us couldn't and didn't imagine it. They ALL need to work to make this shit as easy on US citizens as they can.

Republicans say government can't do this as well as "private industry". Then you look at "glitchy" Windows, the Xbox users who can't get on line, Ipod and all of it's glitches, airlines giving away free tickets, microprocessor bugs, all the auto recalls and, well, I could give another hundred examples, but why bother? Just another meaningless and invented scandal. You can't test a website servicing a hundred million people until it actually goes on line. Republicans don't believe this.

Of course, they believe Obama was born on Mars and the Earth is only thousands of years old and trickle down works. What? I'm wrong? About what? Uh, not Mars? Oh, Kenya. Same difference.

How the GOP gets away with all their fiascoes, debacles and disasters is beyond me.
