Family Values?

so much for following the Lord and giving 1 day of rest per week as He commanded....

poor retail workers...it's the shittiest job out there...yes, I said shittiest....first they take away national holidays from them, then Thanksgiving holiday away from them, then Christmas holiday away from them, then New years holiday away from them, then they took after 8 hours of work in a day paying overtime, then they made a bunch of them 'managers' and took away their overtime pay after 40 hours in a week's work, and now they can be worked 7 days in a row, without even 1 day off....
Back up those claims with some links or quotes. Nobody is forcing anybody to work 7 days a week. If they are, the POST IT.

You're a fool. Retail is dominated by women workers, many single moms. They cannot say no and risk losing their job. I'm not sure if you're as stupid as your posts suggest, simply dishonest or willfully ignorant. I am sure you're an asshole.

If you don't want to work 7 days a week...don't.......if you don't want employees working 7 days a week, start a business and set hours you like.....that is called freedom......you should try it sometime.....
Liberals aren't qualified to start businesses.

LOL, another moronic post. At least you're consistent.
Prove me wrong, deadbeat. You don't have the slightest idea about how to run a business. I can tell by your idiotic comments.

"deatbeat"? Post my "idiotic comments" or STFU.
You've already posted them, stupid.

LOL, yep dishonest and stupid. Don't make allegations you can't prove, doing so is the work of fools.

Oh, I've also noticed something about republicans, and it makes me laugh every fucking time. Take a poor, single mother who wants an abortion because she knows she cannot afford to raise a kid in a suitable environment, republicans want to make abortion illegal or next to impossible for her, wanting to "protect" the fetus. The women has the child, is swamped with the cost of having the child, and now republicans are against food stamps/providing her with money because it's 'evil' socialism.

Yep, that is why I've coined the phrase "Callous Conservative". Did so in response to that other lie, when they began to claim to be compassionate conservatives - that went by the by in the terri schiavo matter:

How about if she keeps her fucking legs closed? Never thought of that, did you, libtard?

Ah, yes, the typical republican response, one absolutely devoid of reason, following the line of republican thought, S.J. shifts the blame to the poor mother.

The poor mother who just couldn't keep her legs closed or use a damn rubber? Yeah, she's a real victim, isn't she?

Yeah, let's ignore a women breaking up with a man, the man dying, rape, incest, finding a birth defect, condoms breaking, lack of access to birth control, teenage pregnancy, economic conditions, counseling, and most importantly: Women's body, women's choice, roe v wade exists, fuck you.

Once again a Republican talking point has been exposed as a lie - and once again by the Republicans themselves. Much like "Country First" and "The Big Tent", Family Values is an empty slogan and is under assault in Wisconsin:

A 7-Day Workweek Could Soon Be Legal in Wisconsin - Yahoo News

"Wisconsin’s GOP is trying to nix an existing law that requires employers in the manufacturing and retail sectors to give employees at least 24 hours off during each consecutive seven-day period."

ROFLMNAO!

Now isn't that PRECIOUS?

It's as if people are clambering for more time off.

Irony... Ya gotta love it.

The biggest businesses in the world contribute to the Democratic party. As long as they deal in tech, and not oil.

You mean empty like "hope and change"?

Big deal if you're only working a few hours a day so what if you work 7 in a row?

This is consistent with the right’s contempt for working Americans, where it’s the ‘fault’ of those who work for others if they’re not given time off from work.

The idiotic desire on the part of most republicans to return to a pre-Lochner employer/employee paradigm is reactionary, unwarranted, untenable, and reprehensible.

It's your job to challenge my "ridiculous claims". I suggest you begin at the BLS site, unless of course you're one of those who believe all Federal Government Data is suspect. As for you being an asshole, that is self evident.

One person's hope is another's anathema. And change scares the crap out of conservatives, they produced a lot of crap during the debate on health care reform.

If you're working only a few hours a day, I suppose you're correct. Do you really believe that will impact most Wisconsin Workers? Those who deliver the morning paper always worked seven days a week, holidays included (both my sons and I had paper routes as kids).

If you can, think about it, this is Wisconsin and it's Governor is opposed to unions, collective bargaining and labor in general. He is also a member of the clown car - what better way to get attention than this? He's simply playing the Trump Card.

Hey stupid, Obamacare covers birth control, remember? No excuse for unwanted pregnancy now, scumbag. You think the world owes you and every other irresponsible deadbeat a living. Fuck you, pay your own way, asshole.
