They're a dictionary, and encyclopedias. The definitions are right there. You might have to click a link. I'm sorry if it's confusing.I need a coherent definition of what fascism is. Not one the defines it as "right wing" when it doesn't define "rightwing."
Before you can call fascism "rightwing" you have to define "right wing." So tell us, what is the definition of "rightwing?"
That's clearly wrong. Britannica is a leftwing source, so it's hardly surprising that it would label fascism as "rightwing," and then not bother to define it.
The dictionary link I just connected to says this:
"The word right, in contrast, refers to people or groups that have conservative views. That generally means they are disposed to preserving existing conditions and institutions. Or, they want to restore traditional ones and limit change."
The Collins dictionary offers this for "right wing":
1. members of a conservative or reactionary political party, or those opposing extensive political reform
2. such a political party or a group of such parties
3. that part of a political or social organization advocating a conservative or reactionary position.

Regardless of what you think about Britannica, the dictionaries and encyclopedias of the world agree with the majority of the political scientists and historians of the world:
Communism and socialism are of the left wing, because they promote total equality among all members of society, which is a benchmark of liberalism.
Fascism is exclusively of the right wing, because it promotes class division and concentration of power in the privileged few, which is also a benchmark of conservatism.
