Conservatives are so flummoxed. They hung their favorite piñata, one shaped like a Clinton. They donned their blindfold, picked up their sticks and whacked that piñata as hard as they could.

Yet, Director Comey recommended against prosecution of the law violations he clearly found on the ground that there was no intent to harm the United States. In essence, in order to give Mrs. Clinton a pass, the FBI rewrote the statute, inserting an intent element that Congress did not require. The added intent element, moreover, makes no sense: The point of having a statute that criminalizes gross negligence is to underscore that government officials have a special obligation to safeguard national defense secrets; when they fail to carry out that obligation due to gross negligence, they are guilty of serious wrongdoing.

The lack of intent to harm our country is irrelevant. People never intend the bad things that happen due to gross negligence."

What is it that you morons do not understand about the word INTENT?

Definition:

the act or fact of intending : purpose; especially : the design or purpose to commit a wrongful or criminal act. Definition of INTENT

Without intent there is no crime. One would have to believe that she intended to do harm or wrong, for having a Senior IT staffer who worked at the State department set up a private server for her. One would have to believe that Hillary Clinton intended to receive classified documents from staffers at the State Department. We know now that these documents were marked classified (after she received them) by inter agencies within the department for one reason or another.

Finally--we would have to believe that Condi Rice & Colin Powell intended to receive classified documents on their personal emails accounts, as is what happened. They also were marked classified by inter agencies within the State Department after they received them.

If Hillary Clinton, Colin Powell & Condi Rice can be charged without INTENT--then so can you. The next time you screw up at work, (unintentionally), you should be investigated and charged with a crime. This is EXACTLY what you're promoting.
