Fewer Americans Think Obama Respected on World Stage

That's the game you can play when you use nominal dollars instead of real dollars even in the slowest recession recovery in the modern era.

I guess you are right. We can always go back to Republican leadership with five quarters of negative GDP, losing 700,000 jobs a month, stock market losing half its value and losing 20 trillion in personal wealth

Now THAT is real money

W sucked. But your beliefs that only recessions count when a Republican is President and recessions only happen when Republicans are President are what makes you the partisan hack you are.
Republicans caused the GREAT DEPRESSION, Raygun caused a recession, Shrub Jr. caused the GREAT RECESSION. FDR brought us out of the GREAT DEPRESSION, Clinton gave us the greatest economic boom in history, and Obama has been cleaning up Shrub Jr.s economic collapse.
Now it's your turn to list three dems that caused a recession, and three cons that brought us out of them. Bet you can't.

Not really a huge surprise. Contrary to the opinion of many in this country, Americans aren't stupid.

Republicans suck

Unfounded tax breaks, rampant deregulation, trickle down

But who cares? Cut funding to the poor to pay for it

92 Million Americans out of work, 50 Million on Food Stamps, high unemployment among blacks..... Not exactly the results we hoped now is it? It's time for a course correction. My money is that Americans would welcome back trickle down. Redistribution is an abysmal failure

Spot On. Obama has merely adopted all of Bush's worst policies, and taken them to absurd extremes. This Nation will be paying for his mess for many decades to come.

Obama Cant Spell Respect - YouTube

How is it possible anyone his age who grew up in this country can't spell respect, and specifically because of Aretha's song? If I had an accident and forgot the English language, I could still spell it because of the song.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me...

Maybe he should have asked a corpse-man. What a bozo.

Okay con, give the link that refutes my post, or you are just a lying piece of shit.
Here's my links to back up my post......

When Was The Great Depression?
In the United States, the Great Depression is associated with Black Tuesday, the stock market crash of 29 October 1929, although the country entered a recession months before the crash. Herbert Hoover was then President of the United States.

In the United States, the Republican Party was the dominant force from the Civil War to the Great Depression. In 1932, Americans elected Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt ("New Deal"); the Democratic Party was the dominant party until the election of Ronald Reagan in 1980.
What Caused The Great Depression : Political History - The Great Depression

What we can say with certainty is that Clinton served as president during the last eight years of a decade-long economic expansion that stands as the longest boom in U.S. history. Clinton saw a gain of nearly 21 million jobs during his tenure (January 1993 – January 2001).
Clinton and Economic Growth in the ?90s

1. Deregulated Wall Street: It was a great time to be a Wall Street executive during the Bush administration. Sweeping financial deregulation helped build the housing bubble and allowed financial institutions to pursue risky trades unchecked. In fact, Bush eliminated the rules that allowed Wall Street to cause the financial crash that plunged the nation into the Great Recession.
2. Cut Taxes For The Wealthy:
3. Ran Up A Tab On Two Wars:
4. Left Homeowners In A Lurch: While Bush was happy to help out the banks in the wake of the housing crisis, he did little to assist struggling homeowners. Hope For Homeowners, Bush’s proposal to assist those struggling with their mortgages, was a colossal failure; in its first six months, it helped just one homeowner renegotiate his mortgage. Many mortgage holders — 15.7 million or, one in three — are still underwater today.
5. Weakened Workers: Bush weakened worker safety regulations and collective bargaining rights

First of all, I'm a libertarian, and you call me a liar? Right dumb ass, I'm a "con" who is pro-choice, anti-death penalty, thinks all drugs should be legal, opposed our entire presence in the middle east and thinks prostitution should be legal. Right off the bat, there is no reason to take you seriously, you're a partisan hack who just takes random events and pins the positives on Democrats and negatives on Republicans because you're a tool of the Democratic party, a mindless mouthpiece who repeats their drivel.

As to your points.

- FDR's programs did nothing to end the great depression, WWII ended it.

- Clinton was president as even you pointed out at the END of the expansion. Which actually started almost 20 years under Reagan. It was his tax simplification as much as tax cuts that ignited it. But again, you're a tool, an expansion that started under Reagan and ENDED under Clinton you credit to Clinton.

- My favorite is your belief that socialism is saving capitalism. You know as much about economics as a dolphin knows about forest fires.

As to the question, I'm going with you know less about economics than you to about history since at least you took a stab at a historical timeline, but your knowledge of economics is not just ignorant but the sort of big government policies that keep piling on this mess.

Hmm...our current prez is DEFINITELY more respected by the world than his predecessor; but some of his global appeal seems to have slipped...It WOULD help if he were treated with more respect at home.
The man's not perfect, but he :
Initiated the ACA which will allow more citizens to be covered than before.
Has taken OBL out.
Is ending the two decade long wars W started.
Improved the treatment of women in the workforce.
Removed the ban on openly gay citizens serving in the military.
And much more that has supported the constitutional treatment, safety and freedom of our citizenry.
Even if u do not accept any of the above, if u r truly honest and a patriot, u need to accept that Obama is:
Our duly (and doubly) elected prez.
NOT a Kenyan fascist liberal socialist who hates America.
If u want our prez to be more respected abroad, it would help if u would NOT support those that call him"feckless and weak"...a "mongrel"..and compare him negatively to our adversaries and those that really would like to neutralize America's influence in the world...like Putin.

Both parties are running from Iraq. The gop cries for a stronger response, when Iraq is Putin's justification, and they are too gutless to admit it was an attempt to instill a representative democracy, as opposed to Putin's bid to install a new iron curtain. The gop is either quasi-libertarians like Paul who lack the stones to call a dictator a dictator or guys like Condi and Cheney who talk tough without taking responsibility for their clusterfk.

The dems don't want to talk about what it would take to actually pose a deterrent to putin, and instead want to coerce the EU and china into sanctions.
