Firearms Sales Reached Record Numbers in 2020 and Aren’t Slowing Down.

Yep. Seems that the gun nuts are buying all the guns they can afford, but the percentage of people who own guns is steadily falling.
About 40% of Americans say they or someone in their household owns a gun, and 22% of individuals (about 72 million people) report owning a gun, according to surveys from Pew and Harvard and Northeastern. This figure has declined over time, down from 51% of gun-owning households in 1978.
Do you really think most people would ever answer a survey from Pew or Harvard/Northeastern?
Even if the poll is correct, it proves that a free people who can protect themselves, is much better off than a country that doesnt allow its people that freedom.

It doesn't prove that at all. It proves that a small percentage of Americans are gun nuts, and that number is shrinking.
I think, you need to seek some mental health professionals because you have a really bad case of gun OCD....
Most of the things you claim to think are just dumb.
Listen dumbdog, Below is what is going to happen to you eventually in Joe Biden's America. It is inevitable. There are three types of people living in America with Joe Biden in charge. The victim, the guy who was blindsided by another guy with a bottle, or knife, or brick. Then there are future victims of said violent people, like you. Then there are the law abiding citizens who carry, but you couldnt tell, because we dont flaunt our weapons in the face of others, but if the guy in the video was coming at me, for i am always aware of my surroundings, i wouldnt hesitate to send the prog slave punk to Lucifer. If that is being a gun nut, so be it, better to be alive gun nut, than a stupid dumbdog who has his/her/its brains bashed in...

I guess that explains it. How long have you suffered from paranoia? I personally choose not to cower in fear, but instead I face life head on. Too bad you can't.

Incorrect...

but the percentage of people who own guns is steadily falling.
That's only registered guns.

And only because of Democrat mental health gun grabs and Democrat service of process from Democrat psychiatrists and Democrat attorneys in a Democrat gun control court, with enforcement by Democrat cops.

No. There is no registry to keep track of guns. Those numbers are from multiple credible surveys.

Sorry ding bat.....gun owners who understand how the press has tried to out gun owners are no longer answering questions from anonymous people on the phone........so any number on who owns a gun will be very low.......

The "press" has its own guns, of course: hired security and local cops who get press help swaying public opinion to prosecute certain cases.

What a silly remark.

What a silly remark.
Guns are a matter of life and death. They are not silly and they are not playthings.
Revoking gun rights inflicts direct monetary damages of hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars on the victim of the gratuitous court process, lies, slander, and mental health allegations.

Revoking gun rights is an effective way of enforcing extreme poverty on victims of police brutality and other abuses of the legal system.

Revoking gun rights is high treason against the constitution, and punishable by death.

A little over-dramatic there, don't you think?

Yep....two of the most underserved groups in gun ownership are now buying record numbers of guns...but the anti-gun asshats keep telling us that two guys in Idaho are buying the millions of guns......

All your links are misleading. I have no doubt that the percentage of black people buying guns is increasing, but compared to the gun nuts that are driving most gun sales, that increased percentage still results in a very small number of guns. The gun nuts that are buying most of the guns now are the same ones who have been buying most of the guns for several years. Siting percentage increases in this case makes no more sense than siting gun crime percentage increases in places like England, which still has a tiny amount of gun crime compared to the US.

A few dozen unarmed protesters on Jan 6 has the coup conspirators piddling their pants.

They ain’t seen nothing yet.

Firearms Sales Reached Record Numbers in 2020 and Aren’t Slowing Down.

While sales are up and Texas might ditch it laws about handguns and background checks the fact is no revolt will be happening and in 2024 when the next Republican win the Oval Office you will proclaim you never wrote about revolting against the U.S. Government while singing the praises of the American Voter and the Newly Elected President...

Yes, Trump cultists, you owning 12 guns instead of 10 guns makes you more dangerous, somehow, so those awful libs better watch out.

That does seem to be the gist of the thread, as illustrated by the OP's "They ain't seen nothing yet" statement. It's a dumb threat from Trump cult brownshirt wannabees that makes no sense, but that's the Trump cult.

So the Trump cultists are bragging about being paranoid rubes? Interesting.
A lot of the people buying guns now aren't actually Trump supporters. A lot of moderates and even liberals are buying guns, most likely because of the rise in violent crime and civil unrest. And as the police presence in many areas starts to retract, people focus more on being prepared to defend themselves.

Actually, a lot of the people who make a big deal out of people having a lot of guns are usually on the left. Many supporters of gun control tend to ask "how many guns do you need?" It's not typically the right that fixates on how many guns are discovered at someone's residence, for example.

But you're right. The number of weapons you have has no bearing on how dangerous you are. How skilled you are with said weapons determines that.

When considering that the items being bought most represent what could be considered "introductory" weapons and ammo, your logic is faulty.

A lot of the cheapest and simplest pistols are being bought like hotcakes, and collectors (the people you call "gun nuts") don't tend to buy those. Ammo sales are similar. 9mm is through the roof, and that's one of the most commonly used types for the "introductory" weapons I'm referring to.

What we're seeing right now is a historic rise in first time gun buyers.

they key phrase is "Americans say"

If a stranger calls me on the telephone and asks if I own guns or not do you really think I'm going to tell them?

Perhaps a little bit, but not too much.

The Constitution of the Commonwealth of the Pennsylvanians states “The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.”

Merely questioning our right to pack heat is a crime here.
