A Florida judge has blocked Governor Ron DeSantis' executive order banning mask mandates in schools, ruling that the governor overstepped his authority.
Leon County Circuit Judge John C. Cooper agreed with a group of parents who claimed in a lawsuit that DeSantis' order is unconstitutional and cannot be enforced.

It was the proper decision. Given the rampant spread of covid throughout the state of Florida, why DeSantis would want to risk the health of children for political purposes is beyond me. No wonder his poll numbers are dropping faster than the Titanic.
