Many red states are hurting. Their economies boomed when the energy sector boomed, and crashed when that sector crashed. In contrast, the liberal states have healthy diversified economies.

Remember, jealousy isn't the only reason that conservatives hate the civilized states. They also hate us for our freedom. And it is interesting, the media double standard. No politician dares hate on the flyover states, being the media would crucify them, but many Republican politicians openly hate on the liberal states, with the media giveing them a free pass.

Haha wait.....so....South Carolinians envy the MORE freedom the folks of California have???? Thats so laughable it's sad. Yall barely even get to use water these days.

You can argue the other stuff. But CA and the Northern states have FAR more petty laws governing people's lives.
