I answered the question so it's really not a good one. Increased taxes have a negative effect on an economy unless you have a super economy going already. My point is Democrats know this just as Republicans. The reason I point this out is because you rally for higher taxes on the wealthy just like they did running in the last election. I think it's time you come to the realization that it's just not a good idea, especially when we are trying to deal with a pandemic and don't know what's around the corner.

This vaccine could have major side effects we couldn't predict. The next mutation of covid could be the worst one yet. We are almost 100% certain this virus came from the Wuhan lab, but what we don't know is if this was an accident or a clandestine biological attack. We also know the Chinese are building three more labs just like Wuhan.

Increasing taxes on anybody during such uncertain times could be a disaster. So our best bet is to cut down on wasteful spending and leave taxes alone for a while until we are sure we are stabilized with this virus thing. It's simply not over yet unfortunately.
