You hate high gas prices. Now you say they are okay because it hurts the economy for them to be low.
But then wages are low but thats okay because of the job creators need more money and less rules.

Everyone knows gas prices are dropping because demand around the world is dropping for just about everything.

That means demand for people's jobs and services will drop too.

Expect the global slowdown to impact our own job market. A lower gas price won't be much consolation if more people become jobless.

The reason the price of oil is dropping is because of increasing supply and a strengthening dollar. It's as simple as that.

We are losing the rush to the bottom in the currency wars. How weird is that?

A stronger dollar may cause deflation at home, a rush away from other currencies, and may initiate a capital outflow from the Asian economies first. Things could quickly go downhill from there.

Outflows from Asia are already starting.

Reading the OP is like reading an article in which a Christian evangelist forecasts destruction from God "because gays" and then gloats after Hurricane Katrina hits. "See? I was right!"

Historically (at least in the last 25 years) gas price have always fallen this time of the year.

However with OIL exports up from the US (due to private industry) and the fact that close to 40% of the labor force is not working demand is low as less people are driving.

And of course we all know high gas prices always help the poor..
