George W. Bush Bashes Obama on Middle East

I always chuckle when leftists blame Dubya for taking out Saddam when they all said it had to be done but not one of them had the stones to do it:
Democrat Quotes on Iraq Weapons of Mass Destruction

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."
--Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
--Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton, signed by:
-- Democratic Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, and others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
-- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

"There is no doubt that ... Saddam Hussein has reinvigorated his weapons programs. Reports indicate that biological, chemical and nuclear programs continue apace and may be back to pre-Gulf War status. In addition, Saddam continues to redefine delivery systems and is doubtless using the cover of a licit missile program to develop longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies."
Letter to President Bush, Signed by:
-- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), and others, Dec 5, 2001

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and th! e means of delivering them."
-- Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
-- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
-- Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do"
-- Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
-- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."

speaking of appeal to authority; where did the republicans find a War on Terror clause in their republican Doctrine hat?

So yes according to your far left mentality, you are howing why the far left religion is the most dangerous religion on the planet.

We seem to have a failure of communication. Hellooooo....anyone home in there? Can you be more specific...something besides meaningless cliches?

See the far left sees Islam vs Christians as starting on January 1, 2001. Yet based on their own revision of history the beginning of the Iraq history starts in 2003, which led to 9/11 and now it is GWB who is responsible for all decision being made after January 1, 2009.

Ah....I think I see the problem.

Correction: the far left does not see this as a "religious war" at all.

Correction 2: GWB is responsible for the decision to invade Iraq which led to destabilization in the entire region into sectarian fighting, and a huge growth in exremist militias. In addition, his actions led to a strengthening of Iran now that it no longer had Iraq as a counter-balance.

Now do you understand?

Yet showing the far left drone mentality..

You really need to get off this drone shit. It's bad for your health.

Yes it gets proven that the far left drones attacks were indeed duds and they want to deny it.

You would think based on the original comments made by this drone that GWB was still president..

The far left religious "dogma" has been shown and proven with every post you make.

So you trusted Saddam over GWB and Clinton?

Ok. Only the last line makes coherent sense so we'll start there. It has nothing to do with "trust".

So this one spits out far left drone propaganda then tries to deny they are one..

Ignores Obama and his illegal wars, and his red line in the sand and his cut and run policies to appease the drones like you.

Bush decided it would be a good idea to play regime change in Iraq. A feat of ignorance and arrogance and a complete lack of the cultures and histories in play. Quick in and out. Result: a holocaust in Iraq. Supported a new Iraqi president that exacted sectarian revenge and corruption in governance. Now what do we have? Bush's legacy. Your pride and joy.

And the far left religious dogma rolls on..

I blame W for obsessing over Iraq, ignoring advice and selling a senseless poorly thought out war and I blame Congress for failing at their job, refusing to ask tough questions, and giving authority to what will undoubtly be considered the greatest foreign policy blunder of the 21st century.

What do you think those above quotes were about?
And yes I agree! Bush was like any human obsessive when it comes to starving children which OBVIOUSLY you cared very little about!
Here read the FACTS of how your hero Saddam the guy you'd still like to see in power using drills on people callously treated his starving children!

As many as 576,000 Iraqi children may have died since the end of the Persian Gulf war because of economic sanctions imposed by the Security Council, according to two scientists who surveyed the country for the Food and Agriculture Organization.
Iraq Sanctions Kill Children U.N. Reports - NYTimes.com
So the war ended in 1991 and 4 years later 576,000 Iraqi children died or about 144,000 a year.
From 1995 to 2003 is 8 years at the rate of 144,000 starving children a year that would be 1,152,000 starved and dead children from 1995 to 2003
All because Saddam would NOT certify that all the WMDs his son-in-law and others had built were destroyed.
Saddam was so convincing to everyone he had WMDs because MOST sane logical rational leaders would NEVER want 144,000 children to starve each year
if Saddam didn't have WMDs.
That and Saddam's defected to the West son-in-law who was responsible for Iraq's WMDs
This was while Clinton was president and obviously didn't care about starving children due to the vicious UN sanctions on Saddam!
But of course you would have liked to seen 1.2 million more starve by leaving Saddam in power!!

Holy fuck on a biscuit. The dam finally broke. Heil Hitler.

More lies from the ranks of the mortally stupid.

What did I lie about? You've revealed yourself to be a bonafide anti-Semite.

The question is why do you want Americans dying in Iraq in place of Iraqis?

The Iraqis have a military force of half a million.

We killed most of Iraq's best and brightest that survived the years of war with Iran during Desert Storm....the rest of them surrendered, mostly to journalists or folks out on a picnic. Then we rebuilt their military into an effective force. If we'd been allowed to stay by our muslim fraud in the WH, they'd have tore ISIS apart. The Iraqis will FIGHT when Americans are with them....on their own, not so much after their officers abandon them. This was a fragile new Iraqi military...it's simply despicable leaving them on their own without a couple more years of building a positive tradition.

-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

I blame W for obsessing over Iraq, ignoring advice and selling a senseless poorly thought out war and I blame Congress for failing at their job, refusing to ask tough questions, and giving authority to what will undoubtly be considered the greatest foreign policy blunder of the 21st century.

All the while which obviously YOU are totally ignorant about........

That and Saddam's defected to the West son-in-law who was responsible for Iraq's WMDs.

Just for the record, how many American military casualties in Iraq this year?

And how many have dies in Iraq this year from war?

ONE American casualty in Iraq 2015.

Why do you people want more?

I asked how many people, see how these drones will ignore such questions.

Even their own answers show what hypocrites they are..

Even one US causality should be sparking endless threads of Obama being a war monger and guilty of war crimes..

Ever consider expanding your vocabulary a bit? I see you've now added a new word "dogma"...but there is so much more you can do to improve your communication. Are you proud of what you created in Iraq?

Ever consider to use your brain instead of being a far left religious propaganda drone?

I did not create anything in Iraq, see how these drones will deny being drones, yet post like one every chance they get.

So you still going to deny Obama's illegal wars?

You've yet to cite an illegal Obama war.

Why don't you simply name those wars, make the argument that they are illegal. Quite droning for a change and say something substantive.

The question was, shouldn't Bush be advocating an invasion of Iran?

When Bush Left office, Iran was settled in directly between two US Armies... With American Allies in Egypt, Yemen, compliant governments in Syria and Libya.

Since he left office, Libya is now controlled by Islamic terrorist groups, Syria is on the bronk of being controlled by Islamic Terrorist Groups... Egypt WAS controlled by Islamic Terrorist Groups but the Egyptian Military managed to unseat their ass despite the best efforts of obama to prevent them from doing so... Yemen is controlled by Islamic terrorist groups, Iraq is under direct attack by Islamic Terrorist Groups and Iran is about to receive a check for $50 BILLION DOLLARS AND NUCLEAR WEAPONS.

It's not a debatable point here Gilligan, your president is an Islamic insurgent.

I believe there should be no willful blindness to our Commerce Clause absent any wartime Tax rates to prove the exigency exists under our form of Capitalism.

Otherwise,

It is just supply side economics and that form of politics as usual, for the Right

By Illegal, are ya speaking of wars which the US engaged absent congressional approval?

That would be Libya... then there's the Benghazi thing, which I mention only because that was the harbinger of obama's formation of ISIS... which is presently campaigning in Iraq...

So there's two... we could of course count Egypt, which unseated the US Ally government there...

And it is arguable that obama has been at war WITH the US since he found power... having revered the gains established by President Bush... in the US Global War on Terrorism.

Does that help?

The Iraq Sanctions Myth

Sanctions allegedly killed hundreds of thousands of children in Iraq and provided a rationale for invasion, a line still heard today. But those deaths almost certainly never happened.

Do you understand the war powers act?
