What is happening in Germany is a direct result of Merkel's policy; it is that chook that's coming home to roost. Criticising that policy is fair game. IMHO it is the only way they can achieve peace is if they reconcile like those in that book, while too many of them on opposite sides have so much hate for each other in their hearts, they can never have peace.
