Global warming may be driving the East Coast chill

The bottom line: The consensus among researchers is that the Arctic is warming faster than any other region in the world. The resulting loss of sea ice in the area could be weakening the polar vortex, allowing cold air from the North Pole to be misplaced over lower latitudes, like North America, and thus creating these cold snaps. But the extent of that link is debated.

The ignorant asses that populate this board can continue in denial, but the reality of what is happening with the increasing exposure of Arctic Ocean water will only create more extreme weather event.

Relax. The current global warming disaster will rid the planet of it's burdensome overpopulation problems. A new, eloquent and weather-resistant humankind will emerge from the ashes. Forward.

We don't have an overpopulation problem, most people who believe we do believe it because they live in overcrowded cities. The entire population of the world could fit into Texas.

Oh, stop, stop, stop, it's too complex for them to get their head around. It's either cold and there's no global warming, or it's hot and there's global warming. They can think it could be colder because of global warming, it'd be like the President not getting the most votes and still winning the election or something.

Then all of humankind will become more weather resistant. It's win.

Now when you said "Arctic Warming" did you realize that we're looking at -5 to -13F?

I believe in 'climate change'. The climate certainly changed from last Sat. to yesterday at my ranch.
One day it was raining and damned if it wasn't sunny the next day.

Imagine if the sea water levels rose twenty feet on both coasts.

Well the seas not rising because the weight of the extra water is making the ocean sink, er, or something. The settled science is settled! Consensus, we have it!

According to the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and the George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication, which conduct an annual survey on what Americans think about climate change, only 13 percent of Americans correctly identified that more than 90 percent of all climate scientists have concluded that human-caused global warming is happening. (It’s actually at least 97 percent of climate scientists that agree human-caused global warming is happening.)

Almost 90% of Americans don’t know there’s scientific consensus on global warming
Wow still using the debunked 97% consensus.

All that is is needed is a giant volcanic explosion and we would have another year without a summer...

Why does the right hate science?

Can we sue them and their worshipped corporate overlords when things get bad?

Uh, the right knows the difference between male and female.
Lol...see this is exactly it. You must be saying that male parts and female parts are all there is to consider. Which would be wrong.

Newsflash, gay people exist, and people with gender uncertainty exist as well. That's the reality of the situation. There are kids born with malformed genitals that get "corrected" at birth but the kid always feels wrong. What do you call them? They sometimes are given a choice of what feels right. If they are cognizant enough about it and what feels right, I think there is some grounds for the idea that mentally someone can feel different than there physical development would suggest.

In other words, Liberals ignore science when it comes to basic biology. It's OK, just say what we already know.
