An investigation by Michigan's Republican-led Senate Oversight Committee found no evidence of widespread voter fraud in 2020, and recommended that Michigan's attorney general investigate individuals who made false claims "for their own ends."

Oh well then ...if the gop sezzz so

The Republican answer to any claims that have been struck down? DEEP STATE!!!

I heard in order to steal a national presidential election; it only takes a couple of isolated instances of voter fraud.... nothing widespread; because that would look too much like a conspiracy or something
In that case we have already found the evidence. That guy who turned in a vote from his dead mother for trump should be all the proof you need.

That's great news! And I am glad to hear there was no Democrat voting fraud.

And how could they come to that conclusion without doing a forensic audit?

They also contradict themselves with this statement:
“The report acknowledges that "there are glaring issues that must be addressed in current Michigan election law, election security, and certain procedures," but says the issues should not bring into question the integrity of the 2020 election.”

So if there are “glaring issues” that must be address with new laws, then how can they say there was no evidence of election fraud?

Bearing in mind the fraud was what they were searching for and found nothing.
You are interpreting "glaring issues" as election fraud. It wasn't. Why would they need forensic evidence to prove you wrong?
Get over it son. Both you are trump are losers.

Former President Donald Trump released a statement on Thursday blasting Michigan’s Republican Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey and GOP state Sen. Ed McBroom, claiming they are “doing everything possible” to “hide the truth” about the 2020 presidential election.

“Michigan State Senators Mike Shirkey and Ed McBroom are doing everything possible to stop Voter Audits in order to hide the truth about November 3rd. The Senate ‘investigation’ of the election is a cover-up, and a method of getting out of a Forensic Audit for the examination of the Presidential contest,” Trump said in the statement.

Of course they are. They want as little transparency as possible. They know the truth and are pulling every string to keep the truth hidden or blur it as much as possible so they can deny and lie and cry. They are incapable of truth.

You're right...have they checked for bamboo fibres?
What about Venezuelan involvement...have they scanned for corn juice splashed on the ballots?
I bet they haven't!!!

Yeah,yeah,yeah......the most secure election in history but yet the Commies want to take federal control of elections......Why?
There are no commies and the feds are not trying to highly centralize the elections or election campaign reform...You like how it is right now where foriegn money in our elections is A-Ok?
Foreign money? ...you mean like China and the Democrat Party? I guess you haven't read the bill only what your party leaders spoon feed you.And yes the Democrats are on the the path to communism
The only people who are and always will be on the communism path are Trump and his cult.

March 3 2018
U.S. President Donald Trump praised Chinese President Xi Jinping Saturday after the ruling Communist party announced it was eliminating the two-term limit for the presidency, paving the way for Xi to serve indefinitely.

“He’s now president for life, president for life. And he’s great,” Trump said, according to audio of excerpts of Trump’s remarks at a closed-door fundraiser in Florida.
“And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot someday,” Trump said to cheers and applause from supporters.

Trump and his cult praising communist and communism.

The Michigan Senate Oversight Committee, which was comprised of three Republicans and one Democrat, concluded there was no election fraud.

[T]his Committee undertook the foundational work of investigating the 2020 election — from both the perspective of election administrators, officials and workers and the perspective of the observing public. The Committee embarked upon hours of public testimony, the review of countless documents and presentations on the 2020 election, and careful review of the elections process itself.
This Committee found no evidence of widespread or systematic fraud in Michigan’s prosecution of the 2020 election. ...
This Committee exhausted every resource available to it to thoroughly and faithfully examine our elections process in Michigan and drill down on claims and testimony specific to the 2020 election.

But that won't stop Trump supporters from believing otherwise because feelings.

"The committee recommends the attorney general consider investigating those who have been utilizing misleading and false information about Antrim County to raise money or publicity for their own ends."

Dana Michelle Nessel[1] (born April 19, 1969) is an American lawyer and politician who is the 54th Attorney General of Michigan. She is a member of the Democratic Party.

Nessel is the second openly lesbian person elected attorney general of a state in the United States (after Maura Healey of Massachusetts) as well as the first openly LGBTQ person elected to statewide office in Michigan. She is also the first Jewish person to be elected Attorney General of Michigan.

In 2014, Nessel successfully argued for the plaintiffs in DeBoer v. Snyder, which declared that Michigan's ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional;[2] the case was eventually combined with others and appealed to the Supreme Court as Obergefell v. Hodges, which legalized same-sex marriage in the United States. In 2016, she founded Fair Michigan, a nonprofit organization that works to prosecute hate crimes against the LGBTQ community.[3]

High-profile cases and investigations

"Upon appeal to the Michigan Court of Appeals, Nessel's request to overturn the Court of Claims decision was denied and her opinion was again overruled, allowing Enbridge to continue work on the tunnel and requiring the state to process the necessary permits.[31]

In June 2019, Nessel filed suit independently in Ingham County Circuit Court for a Line 5 shut down “after reasonable notice” and a permanent decommissioning of the controversial oil and gas pipeline. The lawsuit argues that the operation of Line 5 violates the public trust doctrine, is a common law public nuisance, and violates the Michigan Environmental Protection Act because of its likeliness to cause pollution to and destruction of the Great Lakes and other natural resources. The attorneys general of Minnesota, Wisconsin and California have filed friend-of-the-court briefs in support of Nessel's lawsuit.[32] . . . "

"After assuming office and taking over the investigation of the Flint Water Crisis from former Attorney General Bill Schuette, Nessel announced that she would be handling the settlements of the 79 Flint civil lawsuits while Solicitor General Fadwa Hammoud and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy would handle the criminal cases.[39]

On June 13, 2019, Michigan Attorney General Nessel's office dismissed all pending criminal cases tied to the Flint water crisis. Under Michigan's previous attorney general, a Republican, 15 people were charged with crimes related to the water crisis. Several pleaded no contest and were convicted.

The decision to dismiss all charges was met with considerable outrage from Michiganders, clean water activists, and residents of Flint, the latter who felt their crisis was being forgotten. Prosecutors Fadwa Hammoud and Kym Worthy, who oversaw the case, blamed missteps by the previous prosecution team for their office's decision, citing "immediate and grave concerns about the investigative approach and legal theories."

St. Vincent adoption agency lawsuit

Shortly after taking office, Nessel changed state policy to require that contracts with adoption agencies refusing to work directly with LGBT couples be terminated; previously, such agencies had been allowed (and been required) to refer LGBT couples to different adoption agencies. The St. Vincent adoption agency, a Catholic organization, sued Nessel, asking to be allowed to continue operating under state contract as before the new policy. U.S. District Judge Robert Jonker ruled in favor of the adoption agency, writing that "the state's new position targets St. Vincent's religious beliefs."[43] Nessel requested a stay of the ruling, but Jonker denied this as well, stating, "the state has offered nothing new and has failed to come to grips with the factual basis on the preliminary injunction record that supports the inference of religious targeting in this case."[44]"
