It's simple, Trump is seen as the White Knight and the only one able and willing to stand up to the swamp and establishment. How many others would have folded by now with all the pressure on him? Trump is one of those tough New Yorkers who had to scrap for every deal and fight the big fish in the sea. Once he expanded outside the area, he became far more wise to what is ailing America more broadly, but still has that tough competitive, never say die attitude that he harnessed in the Big Apple.

If he keeps his mind set on the task at hand, he will remain popular, even grudgingly in some quarters who are starting to come around and see the wisdom that there are far too many coordinating to destroy him and the question always has to logically follow, "why"? What is so wrong about America First and getting back on track?

Lobbyists hate him, which means the voters love him GOP will follow in step or risk losing their jobs.
