NumbersUSA part of the nativist, white supremacist network of John Tanton has got another ad out that'll make you wanna cringe. In this one, NumberUSA uses the ol' divide and conquer trick in it's hope to rile up anti-immigrant sentiment amongst Black Americans. See for yourself.

Frankly, I think there is a lot of cyncism in this whole debate.

The Democrats just want to get a lot more Democratic voters on the books, plain and simple. The problem with this law is that if you give the illegals amnesty, you give them the right to compete with Americans for jobs with legit employers. I can't see how this is a good thing for working citizens, whether they be white, black or hispanic.

The Republicans are going along with this because they really think the reason they lost in 2012 is because Hispanics abandoned them. It works on the wrong assumptions that Hispanics voted on that and that alone. They didn't. It was the whole attitude of the GOP towards Hispanics, from English only laws to letting Sheriff Joe pull over people for "Driving While Brown".

The Nativist Crowd is screaming for a fence when it's already been proven fences don't work. What would work is strict enforcement of workplace eligibility rules. Run ICE like OSHA or the IRS, you solve the problem.
