Gun range employee critically injured in accidental shooting

I know a case of where a Master Mechanic had worked a 12 hour shift, was driving home and fell a sleep striking a family of 4 killing 3...

Do we want people who work driving?
Way to go off topic. So you want as much accidental death as possible?
Since there are less then 500 accidental deaths a year to shootings his point is in fact more important. dumb ass.

Trump will most likely get two more nominees into the Supreme Court, this country needs to be better armed

Lets see cars 32 to 39 k accidental deaths a year, firearms 500 accidental deaths a year. Ya which is worse again?

The real problem is that folks have lost all sense of respect (and responsibility) for putting lives (theirs and others) in danger; be it through tools like cars and guns, drinking and/or drugs, fiscal responsibility, etc.

The government enables the continuous, and worsening, sloughing off of personal, family, and societal responsibilities across the board.

We want these people running around in public with loaded guns?
How is this an accidental shooting?

C'mon; there are idiots everywhere. However, it does cast an jaundiced shadow over the "it's just a tool" argument. When used properly, a hammer drives a nail into a board. When used properly, a gun drives a nail into a target. The "tool" worked as it was supposed to.

Shit happens, No amount of frivolous gun control laws will change that you stupid ass motherfucker
you won't stop everything, but you will significantly cut it down
the countries most comparable to the US, that ban guns, have homicide rates many times lower
England
Germany
France
etc
Lol
There again They do not have the right to a firearm ownership nor the right to freedom of speech.
So your point is irrelevant
rights are limited
free speech is definitely limited
many people lose their jobs for ''free''' speech
Please post a link or proof of limited speech, how many people lose jobs for free speach

Do we want people who work driving?
cars are so much safer than guns you cannot even calculate it
cars are used day and night-24/7 365 by MILLIONS--starting at 16 years old
necessary for cars:
written exam
driving exam
license plates and driver's license
safety inspection
insurance
personal property tax
eye exam
seat belt use
cars continuously redesigned for survival - guns to kill
there is NO comparison
Lol
Firearms are an right
Cars are not, you silly little fucker...
And even scalia said it is limited...
No amount of frivolous gun control laws will save a single soul....
it does in Germany, France, England
yes--it does--you can't deny the facts

you can't even calculate how many hours cars are used per guns because it is so high

This is a lie.

Two things.

More people die from cars than from guns per year. The hours of operation means nothing.

A car is not a right.

Related: According to the CDC 518 people were murdered by blunt objects (defined not just as hammers, but clubs and other similar items too) in 2012.

Indeed. And last year hammers were used to murder over 600 people.

If guns were banned, there would be zero homicides.

Or, perhaps if you weren't being so dishonest, you are now equating all homicides to gun homicides.

So, which is it?

It was an accident. Your never supposed to point an unloaded or loaded gun at someone. You can bet this type of accident at a gun range by people who are well trained with guns is very rare. So whats the point? Anything in life that we are allowed to have in life can potentially kill us ... or improve our lives. The key is really learning to manage our actions. example....

Man purposely rammed truck into back of SUV, killing ex-girlfriend, report states

Do you really want people like that driving around? Can we just ban cars now? Just take away everything that politicians determine to be frivolous.. yeah, and we can all live a better controlled life like England where you are not even allowed to defend yourself... not only can you not use a gun, you cant defend yourself with a knife or club.
Self-defense in the UK Is Illegal

No, it doesn't. Those country's have never had a violent class of people to begin with. The murder rate didn't drop at all when guns were banned in those countries. However, now that they are importing violent third worlders they are seeing their gun crime rates skyrocket. In a few years they will equal the US in gun crime. Once again, it ain't the tool...it's the person using it.

Funny, the UK doesn't have regular accidental shootings. Seems gun control laws do work.

If you'd feel safer in the UK, then by all means go there.

Gun control in this country is a dead issue.

Yes...they were used improperly.
The gun in this case...was used properly. It did it's intended job. Sent a bullet at a target.

Firearm ownership is a right… The same cannot be said for hammers
