Enforce the laws on the books, close these stores that don't follow the rules.

Riverview Gun Sales is now connected to the Newtown tragedy as well. Eyewitness News also learned, this is the same store where Nancy Lanza, the mother of Newtown killer Adam Lanza, legally bought at least one of her weapons.

Following a raid by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Dec. 20, Riverview Gun Sales cannot buy or sell guns, only accessories including ammunition, targets and gun cases.

If your son is mentally ill, why are you buying him guns?


And I bet the store owners knew it wasn't for her that she was buying the gun.

They lost their license for not keeping track of their weapons. Not because they sold firearms. They did not know where 20 of their weapons were. That is a major problem. bad record keeping and piss poor inventory control.

It had nothing to do with Sandy hook or Lanza.
