The Irish American Heritage Museum is a permanently chartered 501(c)3 non-profit with an educational mission. It is committed to the basic tenet that preserving one’s heritage is vital to providing a cultural and historical foundation to future generations of Americans.
Our museum in Albany, New York, provides year-round access to our exhibits, our Paul O’Dwyer Library, lectures, presentations, film screenings, book signings and other special programs and events.
Irish American History Museum
As part of its educational mission, the Museum provides various resources to its members and the general public.
The Paul O’Dwyer Library contains a number of this world-renowned Irishman’s papers and books, as well as hundreds of volumes related to Irish history, culture and customs donated by other individuals

Sure. OK. Seems like they have been raising money for one that was supposed to be built 4 years ago..
I was just kidding. While I have Irish genes, I'm strictly American, eighth generation. I don't care if they put a museum there or not.
Fair enough. Besides it would be nice to have an Irish museum in DC.
