What I see is a president who knew the election was under attack, and not only did very little to prevent it, but went so far as to mock the idea that it could be hacked, enforcing the thought that all was as normal, then let his successor deal with the fallout.

Quite frankly, I am amused at the level of shock and dismay that another country would dare to meddle with our elections, given that every country on the face of the earth would love to influence them to their advantage, because we're the big dog right now. Heck, we meddle with other countries' leadership all the time, only we don't wait for elections, just ask Gaddhafi. Oh, you can't, he's dead.
