They are the attributes in general of Western culture.

The South and central American churches are among the most staunch in their Catholic religiosity. Indeed South America has been where the church has proselytized most rapidly in the past 20 years. Actually now that I think of it the current pope is South American.

Combine that with a strong nuclear family it seems to be part of Hispanic culture already and can observe a proliferation of Latino religious polity all over the United States in most urban areas. Regardless of their successfulness in perfectly adhering to the ten commandments or The sermon on the Mount most Urban Latino households spend a good deal of time and effort on religious culture in the home largely driven by Catholicism.
