The years just before and for about 20 years after the turn of a century Religion has a revival. This has happened in the 1700's 1800's 1900's and is happening right now. It starts to die down after about 20 years but can continue till the 30's sometimes.
New churches are established people flock to religion in large numbers and lots of religious activity occurs. In my neck of the woods about 15 new churches have sprung up in a town of about 75000.
