How bad can America get? : An example of Socialist reality

The Communists and Socialists haven't been around for 150 years.
Excuse me? the communist manifesto was written in 1848, socialism has been around since the 1700's

When were they first put into practice, not until the 20th Century, there's a difference between theory and practice.

Are you a Communist?
Thomas paine was a socialist so arguably America is a socialist country, so were may of the of the other founders as well as writers of the consitution. The french revolution was heavily influenced by socialism as well. Anarchism has been around since the mid 1800's and had millions of followers atleast 10 years before the 1917 russian revolution

Are you a Fascist?

They not only murdered Tsar Nicholas II, the filthy POS anarchists murdered Tsar Alexander II.

"The french revolution was heavily influenced by socialism as well."

Socialism loves murdering people also, The French Revolution was one of the most evil happenings in history.

"Are you a Fascist?"

I detest Communists, I will wait until we're not in a Zone 2 section, until then.
zone 2?

We are in it now.

They also freed russia from the imperialist czar, as well as freed several other countries and billions of people on every continent on earth from imperialist and colonial rule

The Tzar was good
Thats says all anyone needs to know about you

And you have illustrated anything all anyone needs to know about you.

"as well as freed several other countries and billions of people on every continent on earth"

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, some guy named Karl Marx and his buddies worked toward forming the future of government for the world.

They conspired to get rid of all the problems with society. They attempted to get rid of God by enforcing Atheism and promoting a little known scientist named Darwin for an alternative explanation of life. They "reformed" the schools, they controlled the rich, they placed people in certain jobs, they rationed living quarters, food, and possessions.

How did the great utopia turn out?

Most of the people who fought for this utopia were executed by the man who became the leader.

We had the largest mass murder in human history with people being thrown into gulags at random, because neighborhood leaders had "enemies of the state" quotas.

How stupid can people get?

Well people were risking their lives trying to get messages to Stalin, because they were in gulags, ...and Stalin was the one who placed them in the gulags.

First Social Security then Medicare and then the gulags!

I wonder what it's like to believe such stupidity?

I wonder how many of you actually seen a communist...

And seeing one on tv doesnt count...

None of them and most of them will have not known anyone who suffered behind the Iron Curtain. They're typical Far Leftist Extremists in The Bubble.

Your comment is both ignorant and stupid.

Nestor Makhno was a communist, and he was one of the greatest freedom fighters that ever lived.

Note that every "communist" government (an oxymoron) had currency, private property, and government. Three things that Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels believed would not exist in communism.

I will back up communists as long as they are anarchists as well. Statism was always the problem.

By the way, all statists are socialists.

It is funny when socialists attack other socialists for being socialists.

The ones behind the iron curtain were the lucky ones. Was much more brutal in the far east imo...

That's quite an argument you dropped there.

I could have an argument with you, but I don't think you could handle it somehow.

That's both a shame and cowardly.

No it's not, if you want to put forward an argument in defence of Communism, then feel free, tell everyone of all the things that Communism brought to the nations it was inflicted on and then we'll have a discussion.

Sure they were, State Security (it is the same as Homeland Security) came at night to people's houses and they disappeared never to be seen again...so the story goes from eye witnesses. Why do you think it was called Iron Curtain? Minefields on the border, barbed wire fence, guard watch towers, day and night patrols on the border with dogs, drafted border patrol soldiers were rewarded with extra vacations when shot somebody on the border, trip wire flares, tracking zones cultivated daily to discover foot prints all along the border..
Just read the book...

If I had to pick a communist state to live in, I would certainly pick east Germany over Cambodia ...
