So it meant spending money to get certified, being forced to join a union and having to make a lot of changes in your home. The cost started going up because of all the hoops people have to jump through.

The government seemed to think that parents were not capable of finding good child care and they wouldn't allow parents to pay people they knew. Had to be government certified people.

Government interference always raises costs and lowers quality. Our children haven't been any safer in government approved child care centers.
