HOW did Sanders beat out Jim Webb?

It's pretty embarrassing for the Democrat party how well Bernie is doing. Supporting an open socialist... it seems we may have leftist teaper nutjobs too.

What's embarrassing about have a system of government like our closest allies?
They had their system, we had ours. Ours became the lone world superpower. Socialism may work in small sample sizes, but not in a country of 400 million people.

The EU has a larger population. We're not even going to get anywhere near that "socialist" even with Sanders as President.
True but I don't want to take a step down that road. And the EU is on the brink of collapsing all the time pretty much and the median income is far lower than here in the states. Even compared to our poorest states.

It's a bit like here. Some states pull more weight than others. And like here, there are problems without easy solutions. Clearly though, it isn't an abject failure, as some would have us believe.

Sanders is the only one who truly gives a shit about practicing what he preaches. The rest of them are all talk and the same old shit.

And yet your party ignores the voters in the primaries and gives the delegates to Clinton, regardless of the outcome.

Will you vote Hillary, after your party pisses right in your face?

Not my party, as I'm registered Independent.

But to answer your question, yes I will Vote for her just so I know that someone sane will select SC Justices. Beyond that, I have no hope she will offer anything positive.

Very much like 1992.

Not seeing a serious effort to win. He's just going through the motions. Ron Paul vigorously challenged his opponents. Sanders is completely flatlining. He isn't challenging Clinton on anything. Sorry, but i does look like he's serving up the Nomination to her. Until i see some real effort on his part, i have to believe it was a rig-job.
Tinfoil logic from a paulbot lol. If he wanted to serve it up to her all he has to do is DROP OUT

Used as an illusion of Democrat voter 'choice.' They never had a choice. Seriously, name just one issue he's vigorusly challenged Clinton on.

Well she has adopted most of his talking points, so there's a bit of success there, huh?

Sanders hasn't vigorously challengd her on anything. He's either the most incompetent Presidential Candidate in history, or his job was to lay off and hand her the Nomination.

He's running a mostly positive campaign. There was a time when Republicans could do that too. It isn't a sign of incompetence.

Pretty rose-colored glasses take on possibly the most incompetent Presidential Candidate in history. If he is serious about winning, he should at least fire his Campaign Manager. It's been a horrifically-run campaign. The dude's practically invisible. And he hasn't seriously challenged Clinton on anything.

LOL. Easy. He's repeatedly called her out and her ties to Wall Street.

You call it a 'vigorous challenge?' Sorry, i don't see it. Very weak stuff. He's laid off for some reason. I'll let you decide for yourself why he's done that.

How many of the democratic debates have you watched?

Don't answer, because we both know the answer is "0".

But please tell us more about your analysis of the democratic race.

I did, and Sanders was a joke. A true embarrassment. I didn't see any vigorous challenging. He's a flatliner. He handed it to Clinton.

Sanders closed the gap with Clinton by 42 points over the past year.

He' done. He never mounted a real challenge. Looks like he threw the thing.

You've really gone off your rocker today.

Practically invisible because the media won't give him the coverage they'll give a circus act.

I actually feel bad for Sanders supporters. So many young people pouring all that energy and effort into helping the man win. And they've gotten zip from Sanders in return. His lack of energy and effort really is an insult to his loyal supporters. They deserved better.

These are the same people the democratic - socialists are depending on to elect Hillary.

When they stay home, the dims will claim that Republicans disenfranchised them and blocked them from voting.

Just watch.

You can keep repeating that all you want, but it doesn't make it true. He's wisely crafted his attacks on Hillary to appeal to the people he agrees with, but which are not as damaging among the general electorate; Chummy with wall street, takes corporate money like the GOP does, must have been really Shakespearean prose in speeches that she was paid $250K for, etc.

Call it extra firm tofu for his base, if you will. ;)

All that youthful support for him just flushed down the toilet. He's showed no energy or real effort. His supporters really did deserve more. It's a shame.

He made 3 stops in WA yesterday. Drew around 30,000 people. Thousands here in Spokane, lined up for miles through the downtown. Raised awareness for the Democratic candidate running against Cathy McMorris-Rodgers. It isn't about him. It's about the people having a voice that can be heard above the piles of dark money.

Yes, such youthful energy and effort. It's too bad their Candidate has given them zip in return. He's a flatliner. He hasn't challenged Clinton at all. He should just drop out and donate the rest of the money to charity.

While the "super delegates" give Hillary the win regardless of how the people vote, thanks to all the dark money behind her.

There were people of all ages there. It isn't a fad. People like to hear someone who agrees with them. There isn't really a lot that needs to be added to that.

I don't understand how someone like Webb was beaten out by a loon like Sanders.
Is there just no room in the Democratic party for those who don't bow to the extremist platform?

Webb puts some GOP to shame. The fact that he was even running speaks of an ulterior motive to me. But yes, there is no room for pragmatism in Democrat politics. It's all about white guilt and free sh**.
What do you mean about his motive?

Admittedly I don't know a lot about the man but I liked some of what he said for the short time he was in the race.

Well, he certainly made a name for himself; and he can switch parties any time if need be is what I'm thinking now that he's endeared himself to a broad base and has good name recognition in wherever he's from..
