I think we've become the Klingons . A war loving nation in perpetual conflict .

In Star Trek Earthlings lived in a communist utopia. They did not use money, they had to get permission to do any research. One dude was a cook in a one person restaurant but never charged customers money. Nobody in Star Trek had money because they no longer needed money to buy necessities, etc.

You realize that TNG was a sequel and not the original show, right?

Conversely, you could have actually read the article.

The klingons aren't loserterians. ;) They spend resources on space and are rewarded for doing so by the resources of space. Star trek needs to explain to me how the hell we managed to defeat loserterianism to become such a forward thinking people. ;) At least within that reality...lol

More than "Oh Bah Bah Bah Mah" is beyond your comprehension.

One thing you do not, is think.

You think about it! We've been at war for a good 70 years now with little break. It just floats out there . We are all about the military . It's the one thing people don't dare question . The military industrial complex rules all!

With a molecular assembler why would we need to use money? Humanity is working together in star trek and research is self betterment. Sounds like a superior world from the one we currently have. Wouldn't you agree?

Everyone gets the help and no one is sick anymore...Tech has cured everyone!

In reality our world will also be quite automated in the next 200 years. ;) So people won't have to work nearly as hard! Of course, if we could ever kick the shit out of greedy corporate America that will want to enslave us for their own wealth.

Yet both the original and DS9 very clearly spoke of the accumulation of "credits" to purchase what they wanted. In fact, Jake Sysco took a job under Quark to earn replicator credits when his dad refused to give them to him.

The more automated we have become, the harder people have had to work, We enjoy more comforts, but the work still has to be done.
