Liberals are void of having American values and traditions. Their main goal is to dismantle the patriotism of this country so progressives can have the government control the citizens rights and thoughts. KKK democrats purpose was to intimidate black republicans to be controlled by the government and take away their freedom, just as the democrats take away the Republicans rights today through the 2nd Amendment, government controlled healthcare, welfare tax distribution to the lazy and Trump free speech by saying he's wrong to practice the right to speak freely.

These elections really break down to the middle class fighting the middle class over what to do. The 'very poor' and the 'very rich' has little effect on the outcome.
The poor has pretty much don't care as long as they get the handout. The rich are more dispersed ideologically than the middle class.

Honestly, there isn't any excusing the behavior of a guy acting like an ass at a rally. Personally, I'd say that if you don't agree with a candidate then there are other forums for that discourse. On the other hand, punching somebody that is acting like an ass makes you look far more ignorant than he does. Now, if you want to look ignorant...then hey, by all means go ahead and punch everybody you don't agree with...on the other hand, if you want to act like a civilized American then it is probably best to stop acting like a gorilla and, instead, act a bit more like a normal human being.
