I am telling everyone now, if you think Trump supporters are just going to support GOP in the future, I think you're very mistaken

It's clear that this is the end result of this. These voters aren't going to line up to vote for Rubio, Cruz or others. They may even lose the Senate now, since Trump isn't on the ballot.

Career politicians are useless because they aren't independent like Trump.
I heard one commentator say that Trump was the leading GOP nominee for 2024.

He would win if he ran, but I doubt he will run.

China will be pouring billions into America to bend you over a barrel and make sure Trump isn't the nominee.

That would be wonderful. With the GOP no longer having to pander to the deplorables they might go back to something that can be reasoned with.

Why would the Dems have to "reason with" the GOP at all, if the Republicans lose their base and have no chance to win?
I have to believe that the bulk of republicans are getting weary of the white grievance treadmill they have been stuck on since 2008. Otherwise there is no hope for us. Most of the people I know are republicans and they are, for the most part, reasonable people. They just need someone to show them a better way since they are presently at the end of their ideological rope. Nowhere to go except back towards the middle.

So?

The "bulk of Republicans" after you exclude President Trump's supporters are a small enough group that they wouldn't have to be negotiated with at all. Particularly if the Democrats admit millions of Illegals to the voting rolls.

I support the "bulk of Republicans" could stay together as a party, but they would be impotent as far as actually ruling the nation and implementing policies.

Trump will have been there and done that by 2024, I don't see him wanting to live in Washington DC as an octogenarian. Maybe Don Jr. or Eric might run? Or maybe not.

Translation:
“The GOP must stop pandering to good, productive, real, traditional core Americans...they must switch gears and pander to wetbacks, pole puffers, rug munchers, chicks with dicks, feminazis, low life welfare degenerates, criminals, drug users, BurnLootMurder and all the other factions of filth that Mexicrats sell their asses to.”
Don't you get tired of being angry and offended all the time? The right wing siege mentality has absolutely robbed a lot of people of any enjoyment of their lives. You might be one of those who live for the rage of it all. Know that the belligerent right is now a drag on your party. The country has rejected Trumpism but not conservatism. I see that as a hopeful sign.

GOP leaders had better step up and defend the president or we'll bitch slap them in 2022.

A republican president could easily win 2024 were they to reject the culture wars and be genuinely populist.

Trump supporters are mostly idiots. They are pawns of a populist demagogue. Those who voted for Trump, but aren't idiots - the Republicans who tolerated him because he gave them the white house - were never invested in Trump's insanity, they were just along for the ride.
You have it backwards which is typical of a lib in a lib bubble devoid of reality

trump has wide support among ordinary people because he champions their causes and issues they are about

A GOP candidate should have no problem at all of beating President Harris.

ANY GOP candidate

Trump is genuinely populist

as for the culture wars, men peeing in the girls bathroom and competing against the girls in sports is a war being forced onto America by a small number of freaks who want to force their perverted values on everyone

How on earth do republicans think they will keep the senate in the Georgia run-off? I'm planning on voting for TRUMP as a write in for the Georgia run-off senate election.

Interesting thought.

so you think that Biden's New Green Deal, pandering to Red China and Public Option health care will be so unpopular that the people would be anxious to vote for anyone who would propose dismantling those policies?

I'm not so certain on that. I think they'd have real doubts about the ability of any establishment Republican to fulfill those promises.

That’s weird that you wouldn’t expect hate and rage from good real Americans as the Left remains steadfast in “fundamentally changing” their nation.
You honestly didn’t know that that’s what good real Americans do? They are committed to protecting and preserving America’s core principles, value and belief systems. Weird huh?

No he isn't. He's been working every wedge issue he can get his hands on. A real populist does not pit regular everyday people against each other. Can you conceive of a conservative party without the xenophobia, racism and partisan spite? You're going to have to.

“CULTURE WARS”.....hahaha...WTF?
The Mexicrat Party spends every second of everyday compartmentalizing the citizenry and stoking tension between the factions....you are lost bud.

He is so racist that he had more gay, black, hispanic and Jewish voters vote for him as a GOP candidate in the last 60 years.

This is about the Old Guard wanting to return to failing policies that they think are good, because they don't live paycheck to paycheck.

NEGATIVE
Trump has simply encouraged conservatives to mobilize, to retaliate, to fight to keep America American.

“I really wish conservatives would get back to thumping their Bibles, polishing their AR-15’s and ignoring us disgusting degenerates while we run a muck, trashing and transforming their nation into the no borders, no boundaries anything goes socialist shithole we seek.”

I'm pretty sure that's how the Dems felt about Trump, and we see where that ended up. :p
