Answer. While he was walking away and his back against them they could have just easily trip him, tackle him and take him down before reaching the car door. They have plenty of time and opportunities. It’s that simple.......

Shooting someone with a taser it’s not that simple unless you are aiming to a wall that is flat and not moving. The leads has to be perfectly connected in order for the tasers to work 100%.
