----------------------- sounds to me that you want to establish a culture of 'kings men' and peasant [subjects] . Course that task is already being done in public schools by teachers that teach exactly what you advocate SwimExpert .------------------------------------------- sounds like you want the uniform as a way to intimidate and I said that earlier SwimExpert !!
Eh, I suppose. But more that I want the uniform to be a demonstration of professionalism, maturity, and what true courage looks like.

The only thing I'm advocating is peaceful assembly and conduct, and the fact that the United States military are the toughest, most courageous, and most professional outfit in the entire world. Do you disagree with any of that?

Trump's brownshirts will be wearing dark blue suits, probably tailored from Barney's and no black boots; Prada wingtips instead. And crisp, white Zegna button-down shirts with Trump ties, of course.

Fair enough. But I'm curious.....did you feel that way when the National Guard was sent in to Baltimore last year?
I wonder if there are a group of service men and women out there who are willing to strap on their uniforms and make it their mission to start attending all of Trump's events with the precise purpose to defend the American people and their rights as enshrined in the US constitution.
I'd like to see them holding signs that read "We will defend to the death the US constitution from all enemies, both foreign and domestic." I'd like to see them insert themselves right in the middle whenever hooligans start causing a commotion. I'd like to see them surround and protect anyone who is escorted out for causing problems. I'd like to see all the rabble rousers, both pro-Trump and anti-Trump, look our military straight in the eye and even try to get off a sucker punch. I'd like to see Drumpf look them straight in the eye when he talks about using the office of President of the United States to order war crimes.
And then we'll see who the tough guys really are.
Ooooh, tough guy. Strangely, you were absent when occupy was destroying private property.

And? Does not change what Pismoe and I were discussing. You're welcome to join the conversation. But keep it within context of the existing conversation, ya?
Or you could leave it to the local authorities and secret service agents, since they seem to be doing a fine job. Whether or not a military presence is present if you get thousands of protesters that infiltrate the grounds of a rally (Chicago), you are still going to be faced with either postponing the rally or potential riots. Seriously, there have been minor incidents, but I think that we need to give more credit to the individuals that are actually staffing the security at both his events, and the events of other politicians in the election. Given the amount of tension that this election cycle is bringing, these guys have been doing a great job in my opinion.I wonder if there are a group of service men and women out there who are willing to strap on their uniforms and make it their mission to start attending all of Trump's events with the precise purpose to defend the American people and their rights as enshrined in the US constitution.

Well a state of Er is a special circumstance.
Is a trump rally a special circumstance ? I think the police can handle things .

Also, you would be unlikely to get active duty military assigned to such a duty so you would be stuck with the national guard or weekend warriors which, no offense, just isn't the same as an active duty detail. Also, more likely than not, they would lack the experience and familiarity with the surroundings that the local law enforcement agencies have.
Forgot to set your clock ahead, ehhhhhh?I wonder if there are a group of service men and women out there who are willing to strap on their uniforms and make it their mission to start attending all of Trump's events with the precise purpose to defend the American people and their rights as enshrined in the US constitution.
