Sin is disobedience to divine law. It's not about crime and punishment. It's about cause and effect.

Do this, don't do that. If you do this, one thing will happen. If not, something else. Simple.

For instance " You may not eat the vile and loathsome flesh of unclean creatures that do not ruminate" because it will defile and contaminate your mind.

If you understood that flesh was a metaphor for teaching and unclean creatures that do not ruminate a metaphor for people who do not chew things over, think deeply, then it isn't so childish especially when you see what swallowing the garbage of people who 'just believe' without thinking does to the the mind and consequently the entire experience of life.

Many people on this board have eaten the flesh of swine who do not ruminate, "just believe" without thinking at all, and consequently their minds are defiled and contaminated to the point where they can't distinguish reality from fantasy..

Personally I find that the instruction of the Law demonstrates a knowledge of the inner workings of the human mind that surpassess and puts to shame modern psychiatric theories about the causes and cures of every form of mental illness which certainly can't be attributed to ancient nomads who reported receiving this knowledge, this benevolent instruction, from otherworldly beings from another sphere of higher intelligences.

So....where do the Neanderthals and other "cave men" come into play vs Adam being the first man? And according to some science reports I have seen, the dinosaurs were not millions of years ago. Only about 6 thousand years, give or take.

As Urul (sample name of neanderthal) was chasing mammoths...from whence did he come and from whom? And how is Urul so different from Adam then?

We have all this archeology stuff going on finding Lucy in Africa and other "people" but they are not humanoid...quite yet. So they evolved. Evolved from what or whom?

Compare the supposed "re-created" example of Neanderthal in any museum (wax figures).......with the actual record of isolated humans that have engaged in incest to reproduce. The images are frighteningly the same.

Show the world any supposed link along the evolutionary fossil record of any remains in the middle of transformation from one animal species to another........not some example of MUTATION (which takes away from normal DNA to produce imperfect examples of humanity.....or any other species). Mutation never adds information to any strain of DNA........it takes away from perfection.

Example: Why are all males born with mammary glands? Because the base DNA for male and female is the same, with the exception of the male DNA containing just a little more information...........the gene marker that determines gender at the time of fertilization. Nothing is taken away or added to any fetus that is male because he has non working mammary glands.....that DNA was there all along....it was just not activated until the time of fertilization.

Sometimes MUTATION happens during the fertilization process and a fetus is produced with both sexes.......that's because the DNA from the male was imperfect and preformed at half its supposed function......something was missing, there was nothing added but something was taken away.

Not all sins are crimes and vice-versa. That last quote from your religion allows God permission to disown people who do not abide by your religion. Sounds like a very judgemental human religion to me. John really had an agenda going there.
