OPEC is fair?

Monopoly is fair?
OPEC is not under the Laws of The United States. OPEC is not supposed to play “fair”. So why would we hinder ourselves with egregious levels of regulations, restrictions, and taxes only to make US more dependent on OPEC???

You realize that those regulations make American oil products the best in the world.

Your ICE vehicle makes YOU more dependent on OPEC

I showed you a link that said 11m to 17m. Open borders numbers assume that CBP catches and processes all illegals.
Its still a big fucking number.
Your 11 to 17 m number includes every illegal alien already in the country before Biden took office.

You are misconstruing the data.

They are still illegal, not allowed to work, but eating free food and getting free housing.

The only data that matters is that groceries are unaffordable for many American citizens.

Which is why ladies like this one are struggling to feed their families

Those illegals living here for many years do indeed work. They do indeed contribute to the economy. They do indeed LOWER the price of groceries.

Deport them all and see the price of groceries skyrocket. I dare you.

Record profits? According to whom? What? Is every company in the S&P 500 making record profits? Are the profits raw numbers or are they record profit margins?

Do you know anything about business and economics? A company can be slapped with increased regulations and taxes which increases costs. The company can then pass those costs onto consumers by increasing prices. If demand drops because of the cost, then employees and other costs may need to be cut yet profits can increase.

Point being…. There is nothing sinful about profits. It’s why businesses exists. Yet, there is something sinful about over regulation and egregious tax policies which collectively fuck the consumer.
In the fourth quarter of 2023, corporate profits in the United States reached a record high of $2.8 trillion after taxes, which was a $105 billion increase from the previous quarter. This was one of the best quarters ever for corporate America, and the strength of the economy helped contribute to the profits. Some of the most profitable companies in 2023 included:

  • U.S. Postal Service: $56 billion in profit

  • Exxon Mobil: $55.7 billion in profit

  • Chevron: $35.5 billion in profit

Some say that corporations are able to maintain high prices due to their monopoly power, and that they may also be shrinking the size of products without lowering prices. Others say that corporations are exploiting their pricing power to increase margins as input costs normalize, and that this is happening in many industries, including diapers, consumer goods, cars, groceries, and housing.

Outside of emergency, disaster situations, businesses should have the right to set their prices as high as they want.

I'm okay prioritizing the deportations. First would be 100,000 Chinese, 50,000 Russians, then potential terrorists, non-English speakers, those without jobs or sponsors, etc.

Illegals are not toiling in the fields picking and tending crops as you imply.
They are in luxury hotels living the high life.
Deporting them reduces the demand for food, which would lower the prices.

A bit more context on the USPS, which is a gov't operated entity and shouldn't have a surplus of cash FYI.
Exxon Mobil: $55.7 billion in profit

Chevron: $35.5 billion in profit

That very well could be, which is why our gov't should be protecting against monopolies.

Absolutely this is happening, it's call "shrinkflation". This is not a apples to apples comparison, but have you bought a Oreo cookie lately? Wife made a oreo cheesecake so we had to buy some. The cream filling in the middle, is but just a stain in between the two cookies. If you search online, people are calling out Nabisco, who says "No, we aren't decreasing the amount of cream", but the evidence is absolutely out there showing that something changed.

Sure. It sucks. I don't know how any of it can be fixed. When it comes to oil and that entire industry, IMO, there is a lot that us normal citizens don't know what is happening, nor are we told the truth about everything. And this isn't a Republican vs Democrat only issue. Both parties are absolutely in on a lot of secrets that they must maintain.
