Well that didn't happen in my days in school because a teacher had the ability to kick a kids ass. No news coverage, no lawsuits, and the parents stood behind a teachers decision.

So it's not not a matter of a teacher not being able to defend himself, it's the same liberalism that creates most of our problems.

Then maybe the solution is to make it back like my day. Kids used to be scared of teachers. Very few if any ever challenged them. In my day, what those teachers did to unruly kids would not only be in the local news, but a national story.

You don't have to be exceptionally vigilant to know someone is shooting up your school. It's pretty noisy.

One of the jobs that teachers must do is be responsible for the safety of their charges. Do you believe teachers are doing their job very effectively now? Wouldn't it be great if they had the tools to do that job?
