I'm Starting To Change My Mind About Trump

Welcome to the party, pal. When they get Trump out of the way, they're coming for you and I next.

They're saving all your posts ... coming soon to a criminal court in your area ... buck-o ... already tried, convicted and sentenced ... they're gonna execute you ...

Just a note ... Mike Pence promptly returned all the government property in his possession ... and admitted it was a careless mistake ... that means he'll be super-careful in the future ... especially if he's elected President ...

Do you want to grandstand, stand there like Bubba and beat your chest? ... or do you want to see the Republican Platform implemented? ...

Almost everyone believes he's guilty..his supporters simply don't care. They'll jump on the 'whatabout' train...and roll on.
His guilt or innocence is irrelevant..their excuse will be that the system is so corrupt..that Trump is forced to be corrupt in self-defense.
Ha! You have a reserved seat in the "whatabout train's" club car.

Me, I made up my mind long ago that I was going to vote for DeSantis in the primary.

Several, including Biden and Hillary mishandled documents but they weren't prosecuted.
You realize that they discovered the Documents that Biden had was when Biden was POTUS, and all (R) agree that you can't prosecute a sitting POTUS.

So why do you keep bringing up biden.
Doesn't matter, right now, if they were taken while he was Not POTUS.
You clowns can indict biden once he leaves office.
Until then, live by your own adage, Can't Prosecute a sitting POTUS.

Of course he mishandled government documents, just like Pence, Biden, Hillary, Obama, and several others. But they weren't indicted for it, only Trump.
And if Trump would have just returned the documents in question this would have never happened. Even Fox made the point, he was not being charged with possession, it is more the obstruction and showing them off to impress people. It is also significant how often Trump pleads guilty over and over in public. But hey, Trump is a cult leader, the cult must have faith.

I never liked Trump. Didn't vote for him in 2016 (didn't vote for Hillary either). Only voted for him in 2020 because I didn't want socialism. Didn't want him to be president or win the nomination in 2024. I truly believed that if he won in 2024 he would be consumed and obsessed with revenge and that with all the other problems facing us, him being elected would not be best for the country. I felt we needed to get past revenge and concentrate on the things which are best for our country and I sincerely believe Trump would be unable to do that so I had no intention of voting for Trump in the primaries or in the general.

BUT

That has all changed with the DOJ's recent nonsense indictments (in addition to all of the other abuses of power by Democrats over the last six years). It has become abundantly clear that the greatest threat to our country is not inflation, it is not a looming recession, it is not our national debt, and it is not us being on the brink of WWIII. The greatest threat facing our country right now is the total and complete abuse of power and weaponization of government agencies including the DOJ, the FBI, and even the CIA by the Democrats, who also want to take away our first amendment rights, our second amendment rights, and are indoctrinating our children as the Nazi's did in Germany. These people need purging and revenge is needed to purge these anti-Americans from our government and our government agencies. We are facing the greatest threat this country has ever faced and revenge is the only way for us to turn it around. We need to begin our own Nuremberg trials of the Democrats and give them the justice they deserve.
They are really blatant in their dirty behavior now. I don't mean regular people who are democrats I mean professional democratic party politicians.

Hillary's case was much more serious and she obstructed justice by deleting 30,000 emails against a court order. What happened to her? Zero, zip nodda.
That’s not accurate. Emails were deleted after she received a subpoena, but it was from congress not a court. That changes the applicable statutes a lot because obstruction of justice is a much bigger deal than, I don’t know, contempt of congress or something.

But you fail to acknowledge that after being investigated by the FBI, they couldn’t get any evidence that Clinton told anyone to delete the emails after getting the subpoena.

You have to remember that it only counts if you can prove it.

I am afraid I fail to see the logic in that statement.
It is really pretty simple. The Republican party is highly dysfunctional. Anyone, and everyone, with two brain cells knows that the more Republicans that enter the race for president the more likely it is that Trump will win the nomination. And already, at this early point, there are almost a dozen candidates for the Republican nomination. I mean they are all fools.

Trump has a base. Yes, they are all a bunch of old white dudes, most living in the damn sticks and flying the Confederate battleflag in their front yard. They drive pick-up trucks and pack heat because of their insecurities. And bless their hearts, they are dumber than a box of damn rocks. The smartest of them all graduated from a podunk high school, many of them never even accomplished that.

So Trump wins the primary. No way in hell he can win the general election. And worse, he will drag down the rest of the ticket. Republicans lose the House, Democrats expand their majority in the Senate. Hell, Trump is the gift to Democrats that keep on giving and all because a huge swath of the Republican party is too stupid to realize how toxic the man is.

He is definitely insulting, at times petty and petulant toward people, but I honestly don't think he is vengeful. He never ordered his Justice Dept. to go after people like Hillary who even Comey admitted committed real crimes, never militarized any agencies against political opponents.

I don't think they fear his vengeance. I think they fear what he would do to their agenda as his is pretty much opposite of theirs in pretty much everything. And of course he would allow their corruption and malfeasance to be exposed.

But yes, if they didn't fear that, he would be a non person and none of this would be happening. They can't beat him on the issues so they have to destroy him. And they're doing their damndest.

You've simply been left with nothing but two bad choices. If I was an American voter I too would choose the lesser of the two evils, on account of the war against Russia factor, that is leading the world closer to nuclear war.

At least Trump would end hostilities with Russia, even though he would maybe leap from the pot into the fire by directing America's might against China.

In the end analysis, we can at least conclude that China and Russia will soon stand united.

Come admitted to no such thing about Hilary. Later apologized for being so harsh on her.

Trump has one issue. Power for himself as President and staying in power to avoid prison.

It will not work.

You are pretending to have disliked Trump, previously, in order to create the impression that indictment is a good thing for him. A review of your history shows that you have always been a Trump loving sycophant.

Fox host and legal expert abandon Trump on air after indictment unsealed

The 37-count indictment released detailing Donald Trump's outrageous crimes was so bad that even a Fox News host and his legal bozo had to admit that the evidence presented was "extremely damning," which is going to be very hard for their viewers to hear... but come on, you can't get much more damning than a tape where Trump literally says "See, as president I could have declassified it...Now I can't, but this is still secret!"
